"Well done" he sighed seeming annoyed. I spotted a camera in his hand.
"I'm sorry? What did I do?" I'm legit so confused.
"You just scared away a red squirrel that I was trying to get a picture of. They're rare in this country. And in mine" he had an American twang to his his speech.
I was just so confused as to why he was so mad about me scaring a squirrel away.
He rolled back his twinkly blue eyes, brushed back his brunette curls with his fingers and sighed at me. He held out his hand to shake mine. I scarcely held his hand and shook it.
"My names Levi I'm new in town" I smiled at him.
"I know " his face morphed looking confused.
"I meant I knew that you were new in town. My names Eve btw. And I'm probably the only person you'll see in the woods today."

So we sat and chilled for a few hours. I told him about how small our town was and informed him on the town characters, who ran what and the best places to go in town. He seemed to actually listen. Then he told me about himself. He's a year older than me. He's from a small town in Pennsylvania called Morrisdale. He told me all about his hometown and it's pretty similar to our town to be fair. So he will probably fit in with us town folk fairly quick. He then told me he was in a Californian based band called The Tide. He said they thought a small town where they would be unheard of would be the best place to move to so they don't get mobbed and what not.

We talked for hours on end getting to know each other. Soon the sky had turned black and we hadn't really noticed being in the shade of the tall trees all day anyway.  I looked down at my phone only to realise it was 11PM and my phone was on 2%. I'm terribly scared of the dark. Like really scared. I sleep with my light on because darkness just ain't my thing.
Levi looked at me. "Is something wrong?"
"Yeah it's kinda late and dark and phones just about dead." I kinda sighed then looked at him.
"I'll walk you home if you want to?" He smiled standing up and gesturing his hand to help me up. I accepted his hand and offer graciously.

The walk home was kind of silent. We had talked the whole night away there wasn't much to talk about left.

"So will you be going to sixth form here?" I asked and his face was very confused.
"Ah I'm guessing they don't have college in America. It's high school and college morphed into one building."
He caught on to what I meant.
"No I won't really be In town often I'll be Touring a lot with my band not just in the UK but all over the world." He had a huge smile on his face when he spoke. I guess that was cute.

"So when's your next show?" I may as well get to know him before he gets too big.
He explained about how he was going to be doing some sort of fanfest with The Vamps which is cool. They were just trying to get their name out there I guess. We made it out of the woodland and into the farmers fields.

"You should come to one of our shows? Like you wouldn't need to pay and we'd take you there and back in our car? Our managers wouldn't mind and you could sit backstage?"

"I'll have to ask my parents. That's so kind why would you do that for me? I've know you like a few hours and ruined your chance of getting a picture of a red squirrel."  I do have a point though.

"Well I suppose it's just a gesture. you don't need to come if you think our acquaintanceship is moving too fast. Because you see I only become true friends with a person once they have been to a show of mine. And you seem cool and chill so it would be nice for you to be able to come to one of our shows".
This time he wasn't smiling he was being dead serious.

"I suppose I'll come then." He flashed a toothy smile at me. We were silent for the rest of the walk home. He walked me to my door, we exchanged numbers and he gave me a hug goodnight.
