    Where the hell have you been, Hailey asked? I was with Dominic. All night? Yeah, he took me on a helicopter ride. Why didn't you call me? I'm sorry, we lost track of time. I been up all night worrying about you. If something would have happened to you, your mother would have killed me. Go to bed, im fine. Tell me about it in the morning, Hailey said. I really enjoyed my night with Dominic. Everything about tonight was so right. It's going to really kill me to tell him my real age. I wanna wait until we so into each other that we can't let it change things. At the same time, I don't want him to be mad at me. I can see myself falling for him and I know that's not going to be good. My mother would die if I told her I was dealing with a man 16 years older than me. I know a lot of parents would have a problem with something like this. I'm 18, im basically legal. If things were to get serious between us, my mother can't do nothing about it. I couldn't even sleep. I just laid on the couch, thinking about our night.

    What time you came home, Hakeem asked? About 4 something, how was the party? It was cool, I didn't even know you was gone. Who is this guy? We met him in the mall while we were shopping. He made small talk and he left. He was at the party last night. He wanted to talk to me without shouting over the music. We left the party and talked. Talked? That's all y'all did? Yes, that's all we did. How old is he? 24, I said. You bet not let your mother find out about him. We not dating or nothing, we just talked. I looked at my phone and saw Dominic texted. "good morning, I hope you slept well. I overslept and missed 2 appointments. My clients are not happy with me right now. I really enjoyed my night with you. I know im going to be super busy for the next few days. I'm hoping I get to see you at least for a few minutes before you leave. Just text me when you wake up. I'm sure ill be busy but I promise ill get back to you as soon as I can".

   Why you smiling so hard, Hakeem asked? He texted me, I said. What he say? He enjoyed last night and he hopes he gets to see me for a few minutes before I leave. From the smile on your face, seem like you really like him. I do Hakeem, he everything I wanted in a guy. How you know that? From what ive seen so far, he's everything I want. I don't want you to get your hopes up on this. I mean, you never had a boyfriend or nothing. I don't want you to be too into him because this is new for you. I don't wanna see you get hurt. I know and I appreciate that. Plus, you know your mother going to flip out when she finds out you into a guy that 6 years older than you. Like I said, we not dating. I'm not going to worry about my mother until it gets serious between us. Do you want it to get serious? In a way, I do but im scared. So many things could go wrong. Just don't think about none of that. Like you said, y'all not dating. Until y'all start dating, just have fun for now. I was laying on the couch when my mother called.

   Hey ma! Hey, how is it going? It's going good, I said. That's good, how is Hailey and Hakeem? They both doing fine ma. That's good, my mother said. Is something wrong ma? No, I just called to check on you. How are you? I'm ok, feet hurting but im ok. How is dad? That's actually why I called you. Your father didn't want me calling you while you were out there. By the way my mother was babbling, I knew something was wrong. Ma, you sure everything ok? Yes, everything is fine. Wait, no it's not. What's going on? It's your father. What about him? I'm not sure how to say this without you getting worked up. Ma, what is it? Your father had a heart attack. WHAT! Yeah, he had a heart attack 2 days ago. 2 DAYS AGAO! Why you just now calling me? He didn't want me to tell you. He wanted you to stay out there and enjoy yourself. I'm coming home, I said. He doesn't want you to come home. But I am. This is why he told me not to call you. I don't care, im not about to stay here for 4 more days knowing my dad had heart attack. I'm coming today ma, end of story. I called the airport to see if they had any flights leaving tonight. Luckily they had one leaving in an hour. Sorry I gotta leave early, y'all know I gotta be there for my dad. We know, go be with him. I will see y'all soon. I hate I had to leave early but I gotta be with my dad. I really wanted to see Dominic again, guess ill have to come back soon. All type of things was running through my head. I'm hoping my dad is ok. While I was on the plane, I texted Dominic and let him know I had to leave. "hey, I got your message. I really enjoyed last night as well. I have to fly back home and be with my father. I'll come back as soon as I can".
