I sat nervous, in front of my laptop, guitar in hand, about to sing one of my favorite songs ever, for a chance to meet my favorite people ever.
But even that sweet thought didn't change how nervous I was about posting this.
See, people had never heard me sing before. Not even my family. I only sang when they weren't home. So this was completely new to me. So you can't exactly blame me for being nervous. But if I got to meet Im5, it would be the most amazing thing to ever happen to me.
So I sat.
And sat.
And sat.
Until I finally decided to hit record, and possibly change my entire life, but that would be nice if it did.
I introduced myself, and told the song I was gonna sing- Everything About U by Im5. Not that I was trying to up my chances by signing a song by them. It was necessary for entry.
Entry to what?
Well, the singing contest whose winner would get to tour with The im5. It would be a dream come true. I live for the day I sing a duet with William Behlendorf. His voice was the most pure thing ever heard by anyone ever.
So anyway, I began strumming, and I started singing, hoping someone would like it.

After scrolling through endless entries, I had given up hope.
"Guys, all of these are terrible. They are all just hopeful teenage girls trying to meet us. I'm tired. Can we sleep?" I asked, slumping into the couch.
"Dude, don't give up yet." Dana said, scrolling through the endless YouTube videos. "Here's one. Lets watch it." He said, clicking to the video.
"Fine." I said, sitting up, waiting for the video to load. When it did, I saw a gorgeous, blonde-haired girl, with the most amazing gray eyes.
"Hi. My name is Faith Winters, and I'll be singing "Everything About U" by Im5. Hope you like it."
Faith Winters. Even her name is perfect.
She began singing, and she was incredible. I looked to the other guys' faces, and from the expressions on their faces, I knew they knew it too.
I clicked pause on the video, and all the other guys glared at me, probably for killing the beauty that is Faith Winters' voice.
"Guys, I think she's the one."
They all nodded, and I grabbed my phone, dialing the # in the description, waiting for the rings to be replaced with the incredible voice of Faith Winters.
