I sat for a while with Will, just catching up and talking about the most random things.

"I can't believe you ate a whole mouthful of wasabi!" I said incredulously, laughing.

"I swear, I've never been in as much pain as that night. All I could taste was wasabi for a week straight. It was awful."

"I can imagine. Reminds me of the time I drank a glass of hot sauce."

"You did?!" He asked.

"Yeah, it sucked. My friends made me a bet."

"About what?"

"They bet that a guy in our grade would ask me out, and I disagreed, because there was no way he would, but he did the next day, and that's how I got my first boyfriend."

"Really, that's nice I guess."

"I guess, we went out twice before he decided I wasn't worth his time anymore." I shrugged.

"Wow, we just went from six flags to 1.5 flags." Will said, and I giggled.

"Sorry."

"Don't be, let's just talk about something else......Like TV!" He said excitedly.

"Oh my god, yeah!"

"So, what's your favorite tv show?"

"I really like American horror story, and the Walking dead." I say.

"Oh my god, I love those shows. What about supernatural?"

"Never seen it." I admit.

"Really, it's like, Cole's favorite ever, after adventure time of course. I'm surprised he's never mentioned it."

"I know what it's about, I've just never seen it. And I know the theme song is 'Carry On My Wayward Son'."

"That just gave me an idea." Will said, scrambling to his feet, getting his electronic piano, which was folded against the wall. He opened it and set it on the stand.

"Do you know the lyrics?" He asked.

"Yeah, you want me to sing it?"

"Yeah, it might help him feel better, subconsciously or something." He suggested.

"Yeah."

And then I realized. My dream was coming true. I'm singing with THE Will Behlendorf.

"Here we go.." He says, starting the song.

I closed my eyes, and began to sing.
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more
Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high
Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming,
I can hear them say
Carry on my wayward son,
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more
Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man,
Well, it surely means that I don't know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune,
But I hear the voices say
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more no!
Carry on,
You will always remember
Carry on,
Nothing equals the splendor
Now your life's no longer empty
Surely heaven waits for you
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry,
Don't you cry no more,
No more!
I finished the song, and will continued the tune for a little while after, before fading out.

"That was amazing." I heard someone croak from across the room.

My eyes widened as I scrambled over to Cole.

I knelt beside him, and looked into his eyes, smiling.

"You're awake." I whispered happily.

"Why yes I am." He said back, laughing a bit, before cringing from the movement.

"How do you feel?"

"Pretty awful, actually. But getting better." He said, winking.

"Well, there's always room for improvement." I joked, winking back.

He breathed a laugh, then sat up....kind of.

"Ow..ow..ow..ow.." He said, taking the whole 'sitting up' thing slowly.

Very slowly.

Once he was finally up, he slouched into the couch cushion.

"We should watch a movie!" I suggest happily.

"What movie?" Cole asks.

"Star Wars?" I suggest with a shrug.

"Marry me." Cole says, his jaw dropping at my movie choice.

"Give it a couple years there buddy." I giggle, lightly tapping his shoulder.

Will started up the movie, and we delved into the movie within seconds.

Right as our heroes were about to be destroyed by a garbage compression system, Will's phone rang, so he paused the movie and walked out of the room.

"So how're you feeling superman?" I ask Cole, bopping his nose with my finger.

"Tired and sore, but happy with the reference you just made." He replied with a smile, bopping my nose in return.

"I didn't even realize." I say, blushing.

"Ahh, but I did." He says matter-of-factly.

"Good work Sherlock."

"Why thank you m'lady." He says, laughing, slowly morphing into a pained groan.

"Want some Advil?" I ask.

"That would be amazing." He says.

"I'll go get it." I say, standing from my seat and going into the kitchen.

When I get there, I'm greeted by a very sleepy Dana, and a sleepy Gabe to match.

They don't even notice my presence until I open the cabinet, at which point their heads whip towards me in surprise.

"How's Cole?" Dana asks.

"He's good, but sore." I explain, shaking the Advil container.

"I see." Gabe replies sleepily.

"Yeah. We're watching Star Wars if you wanted to join us?"

"We would be delighted."

"Alrighty then, let's." I say, filling a glass of water and grabbing the Advil off the counter, heading back towards the living room.
