Song of the chapter: Human by Christina Perri
--Faith--
I woke up to people buzzing all around me. There were cops, medics, Eben and all the guys, and their families. But my mom was nowhere in sight. I sat up on the couch, and rubbed my eyes. I saw Dana laid on the couch, Will had an ice pack and was talking to his mom. Gabe was sitting with Dana. Dalton was getting a cast put on, and Cole was answering questions from a cop, and everyone's families were surrounding them. The cop pointed to me, probably asking about me, and Cole turned around quickly. He smiled and rushed over.
"Are you ok?" He asked quickly.
"Where's Dylan?" I inquired nervously, looking around.
"Don't worry. He was taken by cops and is being checked into a mental asylum tonight."
"Ok." My voice wavered.
"So, where's your mom?" He asked looking around.
"Actually, she can't make it. Her boss is hammering her hard with work and she can't be here. I called her and she said she is so sorry she couldn't be here, and she'd rather be here than there. I'm sorry Faith." Eben said, interjecting.
"Oh." Was all I could say.
Everyone else had their families with them but me. Everyone had their mom there to comfort them, and their dad to be strong. I had neither. It hurt.
"Faith, don't be sad. I'm here for you." Cole said, wiping tears I hadn't even noticed away from my cheeks. I met his hand with mine, and held it there.
"Honey, if there's anything you need, just let me know." Cole's mom said with a warm smile.
"Thank you." I said.
I noticed that the cops and medics were gone, and it was just the band and their families. Everyone was beginning to recover from the event. All the guys families had gone outside, so it was just the 6 of us.
"I'm sorry you guys. I'm sorry I let Dylan back into my life, and I'm sorry he hurt all of you."
"Don't be sorry, we let him in here, and he hurt you first. I'm sorry we couldn't save you from him in time." Dalton said, and all the guys agreed by nodding.
"No, this is my fault. If I hadn't gone outside and seen him, then none of this would have started. If I wasn't going to explore, this wouldn't have happened." I said, looking at the floor.
"No, it's no ones fault. It's Dylan's, he was crazy from the start, and he took it out on us." Gabe said, trying to be the stable force.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." I said, sitting on the couch.
"Uh, Faith, your nose is, uh, bleeding." Will said.
My hand shot up to my nose, and when I pulled it away, sure enough, my blood was rushing down my hand. I out my hand to my nose again, and I ran to the bathroom. I closed the door, and grabbed toilet paper, holding it to my nose. I knew it was a matter of minutes before the next step came. I threw the toilet paper away, and replaced it with a clean one. Then the next part came. I felt it climb up my throat, and it finally fought for its release. I knelt over the toilet, and coughed and sputtered as my stomach released it's contents from my body into the crisp, clean porcelain bowl. At this point, Cole had came in, and held my hair back. After a few sessions, I had stopped, and I felt weak. Cole helped me stand, and I wiped my mouth and rinsed away the vile taste left behind.
I felt weak, and Cole helped me to my room. He carried me in, and placed me on my bed, pulling my blanket over me. He walked towards the door, and was about to leave, when I called him back.
