(Did anyone get the pun I used last chapter? Faith-fully. Get it? No, ok, I know I'm not funny. But it's an amazing song.)

When I got upstairs, I saw all the other guys sitting at the kitchen counter, their plates piled high with my mom's signature pancakes. Right about now she would be making these at my uncles restaraunt, but she took today off to escort her little girl off to her next big adventure. My mom looks up from her stack of pancakes and sees me across the room. She smiles sadly, and I reply likewise. She passes the plate to Dalton, and makes her way over to me.
"Honey, I'm so proud to see you blossom into what you've become. I'm sure your father would agree that you are the most talented daughter anyone could ask for." My mom says, and I feel a single tear slide down my cheek.
"I have something for you honey." She says, grabbing my hand and pulling me to her bedroom.
She walks over to her dresser, and pulled out an officially sealed letter. She opens my hand, and places it gently into my hand.
"It's from your father. I never had the nerve to read it after I got the news. I want you to have it. Open it if you feel like you need someone to talk to, or just something to cheer you up. I love you sweetie, more that you could possibly imagine." She said, wiping tears from her face.
"Mom, to be honest, I'm kind of nervous about going. I wish you could come with me. I'm gonna miss you so much. I know it's gonna be hard, but I love you." I say as she pulls me into a gigantic hug. At that point, I begin bawling crying. I cry into her shoulder as she strokes her hair.
"I know honey, but just know, I'll always be there with you. Never forget that."
I didn't verbally respond, I just nodded, and we pulled away from the hug.
"Oh, one more thing honey, this is for you." She says, handing me a picture frame. I turn it over to see a picture of my dad, just before he was sent away. He looked happy, and he was with my mom. They were so happy together.
"I look to my mom, her pale face stained with tears and a sad smile. I hugged her again quickly as I make my way out of the house towards the tour bus that Eben had brought over for us to depart from. I wiped my tears as I stood at the bottom of the stairs of the van. I turned back to see my mom standing in the doorway. At the last second, I ran back to her, and pulled her into another hug. After what felt like too short a time, I pulled away and kissed her on the cheek.
"Bye mom. I promise I'll call everyday."
"I'll keep you to that promise. I'll miss you honey. But you have to go now. Before you know it, you'll be back home with me."
I nodded and smiled sadly as I made my way back to the van. As I climbed the steps, I turned and waved back to my mom. She waved back as the van doors closed. I made my way up the rest of the stairs, and saw all the guys play wresting on the floor over the remote. Dana saw me first, and he shot up to a standing position as he wiped his shirt of wrinkles. The rest of the guys saw what Dana did, then saw me, and they followed suit. The first one to say something was Will.
"We know how hard it is to leave your family. But we'll be here for you, no matter what. We'll be like your second family."
"Thanks guys. I really need you guys since I don't have my mom near me now." I say sniffling.
"Dad would be so happy to see me now." I think to myself as I put a smile on my face.
All the guys come over and give me a big hug. I start crying again, but this time it's tears of happiness. I hug them all back, and after a while, they let go.
