Chapter Nineteen--
He came down the escalator with a big smile on his face. I picked up Eliza and moved toward the bottom of it. Finally, he reaches it and drops his bags, pulling me in for a hug. Eliza hugs both of us as well.

"I missed you guys so much." He says, kissing me softly and quick. We all go out to the car, followed my paparazzi. I put Eliza in her car seat and then Nick and I get in the front seats.

"Yeah. I totally forgot....we'll be there. Love you too. Bye." Nick puts his phone away, looking at me while I turn on the car.

"We're going to the family house for the weekend and everyone is going to be there. That's okay with you, right?" He says, scrolling through his phone. I nodded and looked in the rearview at Eliza playing on Nick's iPad.

"Yeah, sounds great. It'll be nice." I grab his hand and kiss the back of it, turning onto our road. I pull into our driveway a few moments later, Eliza talking to Nick excitedly. I help Nick with his bags as we all make our way to the front door. I unlock it and Eliza runs in the house, going to the dogs.

"I've got something planned for tonight." Nick comes behind me, putting his strong arms around my waist.

"Really? Am I going to like it? Or are you suddenly an ax murderer?" I read him and kiss his cheek.

"Oh, you'll love it baby." With that, he starts for the stairs. I go over to Eliza and tell her our plans for the weekend.

"Hey baby. Guess where we're all going this weekend?" She sits on the floor and I crouch down to meet her level.

"Where?" She asks, cocking her head to the side.

"We're all going to grandma's house!" I say excitedly. Well, the Jonas parents actually had a house separate from their house, and it was for when the whole family got together.

"Yay!!" She cheers.

"Uncle Joe will be there. Along with Uncle Kevin and Auntie Dani. Your cousin Alena will be there too baby. Isn't that exciting?" She eagerly nods and runs up to her room. I stand back up and see that I haven't done the dishes and they're piled in the sink. I go over and begin to unload the dishwasher. Sammy comes over to me, nudging my leg with his nose.

"You hungry boy?" He raises his ears and puts his head to the side. I dry off my hands and go to where we keep the dogs' dishes of food and water. There are two of each, one for the both of them. They are kept in a small room we have that's just for our dogs. I scoop food into Sammy's dish and pet his head before going back into the kitchen.

"That dinner was awesome baby." I'm sitting on my boyfriend's lap on the deck of our house, looking out into the sunset. He puts one elbow on the armrest of the chair, and his other arm around me.

"Thanks." He kisses the back of my neck before taking a drink of the bottle of red wine we had opened. Eliza was sound asleep in her room, considering it was 9:30 at night, and she had school the next day. I lean back into his chest, feeling safe. I inspect my wrists carefully, thinking of how I haven't picked up a single knife or blade to cut myself at all in the past few months.

"You know, I was thinking of getting a tattoo." I murmur to him, drinking from the glass bottle. I swallow and he presses his lips together before responding.

"Really? What were you gonna get?" He runs his finger over the scars I've made over the years carefully. I pulled my phone from my pocket and brought up the picture of the tattoo. It was a black tattoo that was a small play button, pause button, stop button, shuffle, rewind, and fast forward buttons. He studied it and then told me that was a good idea.

"I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I'd get it on my side." I said in awe. He just whispered,'I love you' in my ear in the sweetest tone ever. It sent chills down my spine, his breath hot on my skin. I stood up and took his hand, leading him through the doorway and into the living room on the couch. Right away, I slide onto his lap and begin to kiss his lips passionately. His strong arms embrace me and his kisses melt my lips to nothing. He slowly stands up and I jump up, wrapping my legs around his waist. My mouth goes to his neck, and a low moan escapes his soft lips. We make our way to our room, Nick putting me on the bed. I look up at him as we slowly break our connection. Then I got an idea.

"Let's go swimming babe." I stand and whisper in his ear. I strut past him and go into my closest to grab my bikini. I sneakily change into it and turn around, putting my hair in a messy bun and seeing Nick tying the strings on his swim trunks. He turns and looks at me and I raise an eyebrow, challenging him. I start to run downstairs, Nick catching my hint a few seconds after me. As I race past the living room, the dogs come behind me, running with me out to the patio. I jump in the big pool, hearing more splashes around me. Once I resurface, I don't see my boyfriend anywhere. Sammy and Elvis are swimming to the shallow end of the water.

"Eekkk." I squeal, feeling arms around my waist. My upper half is picked up out of the water before I'm set back down a second later. I turn around in the warm water and see Nick plunging underwater. I smirk and sulk and go on his shoulders once he begins to resurface. I'm lifted into the chilly air as my boyfriend rises out of the water, holding my legs firmly.

"We are going to have so much fun this weekend babe." He says coolly. I put my hands on his shoulders and smile.

"Yeah. I'm super excited." I leaned back and let myself fall into the water. When I come back up, I see Eliza standing at the patio door. Nick sees her too, and gets out of the water.

"She alright?" I asked him, pulling my hair to the side. He looks back at me, his beach towel around his neck, the dog tag necklace around his neck glistening.

"I'll go see." He walks into the house, closing the glass door. I look around and see Sammy trying to get his way out of the pool.

"Here baby, let me help you." I chuckle and walk over to the shallow side, boosting my dog up on to stone by the pool that was put there for design. The dog goes over and gets a rubber ball out of the grass, getting grass on his paws and legs. He brings it to me and sets it by the pool.

"You can't come back in honey." I give him a pouty face, Elvis swimming up next to me. I pet his wet fur and smile, seeing Nick walk back out onto the patio. He slides back into the pool and leans on the side, his elbows on the patio.

"Everything okay?" I walk over to him, the pool lights glowing around us. He slips his arm around me as I go in next to him.

"She just had a nightmare. I let her lay in our bed until we go inside." He kisses the side of my head.

"Alright. Sammy is mad at me now." The animal is laying on the stone, his muzzle on his paws. His brown eyes are big and he sighs deeply.

"He got dirty and I would like the pool to stay clean." I smirk and swim away from him. Nick swims behind me, Elvis following him. We spent about an hour in the pool before finally going to bed.

"I'll take her." I whisper in the dark, still in my swimsuit. I'm all dry so I pick Eliza up off our bed and walk her to her bedroom. I lay her in the bed and kiss her forehead, turning her night light on. I pad to my own room, Sammy right on my heel. I chuckle, hearing his nails clacking on the wood of the floor.

"I am so tired." Nick tells me when I reach the room. He's wearing a simple gray shirt and black shorts.

"Me too. We are definitely sleeping in tomorrow." I yawn and start to untie the strings of my bikini. I grab a shirt of Nick's and slip it over my body, slipping on a pair of panties.

"Who's gonna bring Eliza to school tomorrow?" He asks me, getting in bed.

"I can. Unless she wants you to." I climb in bed next to him and lay my head on his chest.

"Alright. Goodnight sweetheart." He whispers to me kissing my hair.

"Goodnight honey." I reply, yawning and stretching.
