Present
Gale was saying the truth and I couldn't afford to lose an ally by my stupid acts. He was one of us and we need him to be more powerful. Now, we were two and we need to find the way that would lead us to the others.
"Do you trust me now--umm," He asked while pulling his shirt back.
Confusion fill his face, "You never told me your name."He stated.
"Because you never asked." I said in a matter-of-fact tone and rolled my eyes.
He sighed, "Right."
"Very right!" I agreed.
"Then what is it?"He asked.
"Raven"
My what-I-thought-my-parents-were gave me a very stupid name. Well, I didn't actually blame them for that but I hate the feeling of being called a girly name. My name before had been Sheila Moris--ugh- I hate saying that. But when Nelson arrived in my life, my personal Guard who had hidden me for 14 years, everything had changed and even if I hated the monsters and the life of running, I somehow liked it. Because he had given me the opportunity to change myself: To be who I really was.
You probably heard me right; Nelson hid from me in my fourteen years of living with my what-I-thought-my-parents-were when the thirteen Guards had arrived on Earth with the eggs that hadn't hatched.
They searched for a place to stay for one night and during that night, they made a blood pact. Blood pact was a very sacred thing they did on Earthion. If you broke it, bad luck would surely follow until you die in a horrible situation that you couldn't imagine.
Therefore, they made a pact to take different paths and have a low profile. Live far away from their Legends the moment they hatch to avoid complications that I couldn't understand. Whatever they were, they weren't sensible to me. Because, instead of training us while we were young, they chose to give us to people that don't know that their child was already dead and replaced by a kid they have no relation to.
That's a pretty name. He smiled.
"How Can you do that?" I asked.
"What?"
"I can hear your thoughts and you can hear me."
"I don't know. This is the first time I was able to hear anyone." He replied.
"Really?" I said, raising my eyebrow.
"It's true."
I snorted, "Whatever."
"So...You believe me?" He asked.
"Uh huh," I thought of it again "What I mean is the trusting part." I replied in a bored tone that I always do with Nelson.
"Then c'mon." He grabbed my wrist but I snatched it away.
"Where are we going?"
"Trust Me," He whispered softly and I softened for a moment while I was looking into his hazel eyes.
Raven, go with the flow and it will lead you to the place that you won't regret. I thought.
Fine.
I walked past him and when I noticed that he was just watching me, I grabbed his arm.
"C'mon you still have a place to bring me, right?"
He smirked and we walked silently as he led me to a place that he wanted to show. I felt safe in this dimension even if the Great Voice really crept me out. Because of it, I remembered the Great Sun that Nelson had mentioned before. Were they related because of the Great thing in their names?
