I saw the cloudless sky like a sun without heat, a tree without roots, and a bird without wings.
I felt incomplete and craved for someone that I never understood so well before, wanting to be with him once more even if it was impossible.
I never thought it would hurt this much. I missed him badly and I wanted to see him even for a second. But I couldn't do it, I didn't know where he went or hid. After all, this situation might be better since we might end up stirring more trouble together or much worse getting killed together.
When Gale and I got separated, I realized that I was destined to be alone at this point.
Because Nelson left me too so I would be able to discover the relevant things by myself. It hurts because I had wished to have a companion before, a person like me but I knew it wasn't the right time for us to get united. The right time would come.
I could still remember how I fled from the police-like Berems and I was grateful that my enemies weren't on my trail yet.
The morning heat welcomed me as I made my way toward the coast. I don't know why I wanted to go there but I knew that my instinct could be trusted. I ran quietly and stopped where people couldn't notice me. I released Harvey from the bag and we both inhaled a lung full of air.
"It's better," Harvey said in relief.
"Yeah." I agreed dryly.
"Why Master?" He asked.
"Well--" I shook the thought away. "Nothing"
"Where's Gale?" He asked as he looked around.
"Don't look for him, he's not here anymore." I said, looking at the horizon.
"But where did he go?"
"I don't know, we will go different paths in the meantime and we will get united when the time is right." I explained and our conversation ended.
My keen eyes searched the whole area for a couple of minutes before they landed on a small boat. I couldn't steal the bigger one because it would attract more attention and I didn't want the incident lately to repeat itself.
We can't go to the airport but I could easily sneak into other countries. I never had traveled in water alone but this was the only way since I can't fly.
"Harvey,"
"Yes, master Raven?" He asked.
"Get some supplies for us but make sure no one can see you." I said.
I knew Harvey could do things that I can't so he was my best bet at this time. His skill was developing each day. He could be invisible, passed by easily without someone noticing. And I had hoped his memories would soon come back.
"Yes, master." He answered.
Starting to pull the boat toward the water, I thought of what country would be the best hiding place. I still have no better plans but I knew hiding would help me. As well as the others who were hiding in some places that I didn't know. I hoped they remain safe and out of danger.
However, the girl in my dreams was getting clearer and it would only take a couple of days before I knew where she is and what she looks like. Every night her screams and cries became louder and louder, waking me in my sleep. Gale was worried about me so I told him about the girl that was bothering my sleep. He said that we will find her even if I knew that he was lying. I know he only said that to ease the tension.
Cutting my thoughts, Harvey appeared from nowhere, grinning from ear to ear. He was carrying the supplies we needed like flashlights, canned goods, water, and food.
