The police came after the hotel called. The staff of the hotel wanted the room to be investigated because of the unknown reason for the havoc. Everything was not in order and the management wanted the people who checked in it to pay them for all the damage that they have done. The damage caused the whole building to fret because the fire grew much bigger and it almost burned the whole hotel and killed many lives with it.
According to the reports, there were two underage individuals who were suspected to be drug users because of their clothes and the way speak or move. The couple, as the receptionist had said earlier was very suspicious when they arrived. The girl in fact looked like she was drunk. But because of their good looks and money, they took them in and gave them a decent room.
The security guards checked the surveillance cameras at the time they arrived and the girl was easily recognized. She was the daughter of the known businessman, Michael Moris of Moris Enterprise. She is Sheila Moris and when her parents were asked about her, they refused to talk about it, saying they had lost her in a car accident three years ago and they must have been mistaken because the girl doesn't look exactly just like their innocent daughter.
When the staff of the hotel came into the room, nothing was there. All the windows were closed and there was no place for them to escape except for the locked door. Small splatters of blood were found on the floor and wall but there was no dead body or hurt person. It was a mystery that no one could actually understand because the couple just vanished.

"I can smell them, master." I hoarse voice spoke.
Footsteps creaked on the floor as the man who was dressed in black leather with red eyes roamed in the room. They seek them to kill. Their energy would sustain their lives and power that other creatures from Earthion could not give. The last legends were a threat to them but also to their sustenance. They need them and long for their blood to taste. They were so vital to their plans of conquering the whole galaxy.
"Keep on searching. They might leave us some clue to where we can find them." The man replied in a dark tone.
Trailing his finger on the wall, he found the blood. He smelled it and tasted the crimson liquid that was starting to dry. It was midnight but the sinister-looking man could still see his surroundings very clearly. The night was their ally. As a Lockni their senses work at night more properly. It was their ability that other races did not have.
A small smile parted his lips as the taste of the blood lingered in his mouth. For him, it was fresh and very powerful. Now he could feel the source of the blood and he knew for an instance that they were near.

What happened last week was a shock to both of us. The news spread in the U.S like a wildfire and we were accused as drug users that people must avoid and report when seen. It was the reason why we couldn't get a room in hotels even if we have money to pay the rent. It was very dangerous for us to be seen in public right now. Dressed in our usual clothes and armed with our powerful weapons, we were forced to lurk behind the shadows of this forest.
We climbed a tree and made ourselves comfortable even without eating a decent dinner. Even buying foods was a way of selling ourselves out to the eyes of people who seek us, especially Locknis.
"So...your parents" Gale broke the awkward silence that was building between us and I guess he was afraid that he might open a sensitive subject.
"They are alive," I replied, sounding like it was no big deal but actually, it was. I missed them, a lot. However, I think it was better to deny me as their daughter if saying the truth would only lead to their danger. I knew there was no car accident that happened in our family because I just walked away and vanished from their lives for three long years without saying goodbye.
