Justin's POV

I get home &i call for the boys.

"What is it Justin?" Derek comes out the front door, "know something?"

"I don't but I think Liam's pack does"

"Why do you say that?" Stiles ask's as he arrives.

"I was talking to this girl in my last period &as i was walking out the door Liam was waiting for me outside &he attacked me" showing the punctures on my shirt "&think it had to do something with her"

"Who was it?" Johnny asked

"Alex" I replied

"Wait the girl from our trig class? the loner?" Ray was laughing

"He wants me to stay away from her. I also wasn't able to read or control her mind" I looked at Derek.

Derek's mood changed automatically. it looked like he knew something.

"Justin keep talking to this Alex girl, Ray &Johnny keep an eye on Liam &his pack. Follow them in school, if one of them talks to Alex I want to know, if they do something suspicious I want to know, if Alex doesn't go to school I want to know why she didn't go...."

"Why?" asked Ray puzzled.

"Cause she might be who we are looking for" I replied as i looked up at Derek

'Correct'

He told me.

"What about me?" Stiles asked

"You Stiles. I want you to get the book from Liam" Derek said as he walks back inside the house.

"How?" he asked puzzled.

"Don't worry I have plan" I replied

Liam's POV

"Guys!" I scream for them as I walk in the house.

"Liam what's wrong?" Zayn asked.

"Justin. he knows something"

"What? how?" Louis exclaimed.

"I was able to hear his thoughts &he said that she smelled good &it was Alex who he was talking about" I walk towards the kitchen.

"Why do you think he knows something mate?" Niall asked eating pudding.

"Since when did you like pudding?" I asked puzzled

"Since lunch time today" he smiled.

We all laughed, it was because of Alex.

"Anyway I read his mind &he was telling himself that he wasn't able to read or control her mind. he was confused like I was. I warned him to stay away from her but he won't." I get a water from the refrigerator &take a drink.

"So we need to find out if she is the one fast. it will be hard because Justin probably already told Derek &his pack" Harry looked at me.

"Ugh Derek!" I slammed my water down against the counter "he probably told Justin to keep talking to her" I look at the boys who seem more concerned "Derek will probably use Justin to turn her"

Then i remembered, I walk out the kitchen &run to the library.

"Liam what is it!?" I hear Niall behind me.

"We need to hide the book. Derek doesn't have it so he doesn't how to distinguish the one."

I take the book &gave it to Louis

"Louis cover it with something or put in a bag so your scent won't smell & bury it"

"What about Alex? Just hiding the book won't help protect her, &us using our powers on her won't help either because I am pretty sure that they will keep an eye on her" Zayn had a point. We can't be using our powers on her that much.

"We need to make them believe that she isn't the one. we need a distraction. we need to find someone else..."

"You want to get someone else to be bate?" Harry asked puzzled.

"Yeah..." I looked at the boys and they starred at me &then to Niall &Harry.

"We can't do that Liam!" Niall screamed "its not what we do! we can't just offer someone else, if they kill her we will become exactly like them" Niall started to get teary eyed, Harry started to shape shift, but seeing Niall cry made him stop.

"Well what else can we do?! we can't just offer Alex to Derek &watch Justin transform her! We need to protect her &doing that is to offer someone else" I walk towards the window "Tomorrow during Trig we will ignore Alex &pay our attention to someone else..."

"Who?" Louis asked

I turn to look at them. Zayn &Louis are focused on Niall who is ignoring me &Harry is looking at me with his red eyes. He hates me for what I planned to do.
