Chp 18

Alex's POV

I walk into the living room &the boys are sitting watching TV.

"Um here Liam" I hand him the letter. He looks at me &gives It to Zayn.

"Ill be back" Zayn gets up &walks towards the door.

"Ill go with you" I follow him

"No..." Liam gets me by the arm "we can't risk anyone seeing you with him. if they see you, they will come after you... &we can't risk that"

"Who will come after me?" I look at him puzzled.

"Ill be back" I hear Zayn again, I see him &his eyes turned yellow.

I automatically step away from him, knowing what he is capable of I didn't want to be near him.... them.

I let myself loose from Liam's grip &walk upstairs to the bedroom I was in.

'Why did this have to happen to me? Why did they have to move to our school? why can't I just be left alone.... am I ever going to see my mom again?'

I tell myself as I pace back &forth.

"You will..."

I get scarred &i see Liam entering the room.

"You scarred me" I tell him, walking towards the bed

"Im sorry that I've been doing that a lot lately" he tells me pulling his desk chair next to me.

"Can I ask you something?" I look at him curious.

"I suppose because I can't read your mind" he chuckled, but I stayed serious... "what is it?" he looked at me normal.

"How come you all have different colors?" I asked him.

Liam's POV

I tried being funny so that we can ease the tension between us but I guess it won't work.

"What is it?" I asked her

"How come you all have different colors?" she asked me.

'Tell her Liam' I hear Niall

'Mind your business' I tell him.

"Well we all came from different packs" I tell her.

"What do you mean different?" She asked me confused

"We all have different stories, different history.." I tell her " I met them through my journeys"

"That doesn't explain the colors" she tells me.

"Well umm...."

"Me &Niall came from the same pack"

I hear Harry.

Harry's POV

"Me &Niall came from the same pack" I tell Alex.

'You were taking forever, sorry mate' I tell Liam, who signals me to come in.

"What do you mean?" she looks at me more confused.

"Tell her Harry" Liam tells me.

"I was in the pack before Niall..." I start "you see Alex to become an alpha you need to bite at least 3 people" I lift up my shirt &show her my bite mark around my waist "I was #2" I signal her with my fingers "but when I got turned my alpha didn't show me how to control myself on full moons, or how to control my shape shifts.."

"But why did you get turned?" she asks me.

"I had no one. I spent most of my days in the street looking for trouble &one night I found it" I tell her as I sit on Liam's desk. "I got in a fight with this guy that I owed money too &he stabbed me &left me for dead. The alpha found me &he just bite me &it felt like I was being cut open while being awake because the pain was unbearable. I woke up the next day &well I started getting trained &being brainwashed that every human was horrible &wanted us all dead. at first I thought it was true. I started killing everyone that ever hurt me, or even gave me an ugly stare. then one day I over hear the alpha talking to his sidekick (the first beta) &i heard him that I wouldn't be enough. that he had to kill someone else to become alpha."

"So he used you?" she asked

"Yeah he did. &when I found out that I was just another werewolf I started to ignore him. I wouldn't come to the house anymore, I stopped killing people, I tried to control myself..."

"What does Niall have to do with this?" she interrupted me

"Niall was my only friend. One day was walking around the park &i saw him laying on the floor. He looked like he hasn't eaten for days so I bought him food. he told me that he had runaway from home to live his life &see the world but he ran out of money &had no place to go. So I took care of him, I would get him food, &shelter &i even told him about what I became. At first I was scarred because I thought he would tell the police or something but he accepted me &well we became best mates. His only wish was to go back home with his family &not even one second I thought about turning him. I didn't want to ruin his life so I didn't tell my alpha; but one day Niall met the alpha &the alpha thought he would be an extraordinary candidate to be his last beta so that he can become alpha. So I told Niall that he had to leave because they were gonna use him &..."

"&the day I was going to leave the alpha got me"

We look up &see Niall

Niall's POV

"I was going to leave without telling Harry because I knew that the alpha would hurt him to find me, but I knew Harry would understand. I was about to leave until the sidekick came to tell me that Harry was in trouble &that he needed help" I sit on the bed looking at Alex.

"I follow him into the woods &i see no one. no one was there" I could feel my eyes starting to get watery. "I was looking for Harry but when i saw the alpha &he had Harry... &Harry wasn't awake"

"Why? what happened to him?" Alex asked while looking at me &Harry.

"The alpha tried killing me with wolfs bane &he scratched me a couple of times" I hear Harry, looking at his arms.

"He was bleeding from his arms &he didn't wake up. the alpha told me that Harry was just using me so that Harry can create his own pack, but I knew he was lying" I look at Harry who has tears running down his eyes.

"That's when I woke up" Harry looked up at Alex

" When I saw Niall I was telling him to leave &to remember that the alpha only wanted him so that he can become alpha..."

"But as I was running the alpha got me" I looked at Alex

"Before he bit me he said that I will never forget about him &then the world went dark"

Harry's POV

"&we both didn't forget" I tell Alex but starring at Niall who stared crying.

"Then why did you kill Karen?" Alex asked me.

"Because I didn't want her to live a life that she wouldn't like. I know I don't. ever since Niall got turned it felt like I ruined his life because now he can't go back to his family"

"But who's idea was it to turn Karen?" Alex asked

Both Niall &I stare at Liam
