Chp 24

Alex's POV

"Hey boys guess who is awake!" I tell them with joy.

Before they said anything Liam walked downstairs.

"Eyy!" Louis, Harry, &Niall said at the same time.

They were happy to see him.

"How is Zayn doing?" Niall asked.

"He is getting better, he changed his sleeping position" I told them happily.

"Hopefully he wakes up soon so that he can tell us what happened" Harry said.

"What do you lads have there?" Liam asked pointing at the shopping bags.

"Well we went shopping for Alex" Louis said while putting the bags on the kitchen table.

"We got you shirts, pants, Victoria secret, &shoes" Harry smiled

"How did you guys know my sizes?" I asked confused looking through the bags.

"When you would wash we looked at the sizes" Niall said looking like a tomato.

"Perverts" I laughed.

"You can put your stuff in my room Alex. ill make space for you" Liam smiled at me.

"Thanks" I smiled back

"Eyyy!" the boys said smirking at me &winking at Liam.

"Shut up" I get the bags &head towards Liam's room.

I pass by Zayn's room &i see him sitting on his bed. I passed by like whatever until I realized that he woke up. I dropped my bags &i went back to his room. I walk in &i see him sitting in his bed holding the engagement ring.

"Zayn?" I look at him confused

"Alex" he looks at me standing up, putting the ring away.

"Oh my god!" I hug him "thank god that you are awake!" I tell him as I hug him.

Zayn's POV

'Flashback'

"Zayn!" I heard her screams but I didn't know where she was.

"Perrie?!" I looked for her like crazy. I tried smelling her scent but I couldn't.

'Come &get her' I heard him

"Where is she!" I growled. I was already fully changed.

"Boo"

I turn around &i see him holding Perrie. Perrie was unconscious.

"What did you do to her!"

"You took my life from me" he looked at me "&now Im going to take your life from you" he smirked at me.

"What do you mean!?" I look at him confused.

"You bit me Zayn!" he growled

"To save your life! You were dying remember! you were my best friend &i didn't want you to die" I tried getting close to Perrie but he moved her more against him with his claws on her stomach &neck.

"Does she know that you are a wolf?" he asked me "does she know that you change into a monster?"

"Don't hurt her" I could feel my eyes turning bright yellow.

"Maybe I can bite her without her permission, what do you think?" he licked her neck " so she can realize that she is going to get engaged with a killer. with a killer who kills only for pleasure"

I tried using my powers against him but it was useless, he knew how to block my thoughts.

"If you don't like the way you live why didn't you just tell me? I could of killed you when you wanted to!" I tell him

"I should of shouldn't I?" he looked at me "cause of you I couldn't see my girlfriend anymore. I couldn't get near her nor my family. I can't live my life the way I wanted it to be"

"What does that have to do with Perrie?" I looked at him confused.

"Well Zayn, Im going to do the same thing you did to me" I see him dig his claws into Perrie's stomach which made her wake up

"Ahh!" she let out a scream of pain

"Stop it let her go!" I feel my eyes watery.

"Look at him Perrie. you see what he really is"

Perrie looked at my frightened. she started crying.

'Im so sorry this had to happen to you. I knew this was going to happen, I should of changed you when I had the chance.'

"Why didn't you?" He asked me "why didn't you change her when you had the chance?"

I looked at her. she was crying &frightened. I knew I couldn't do anything to stop him

"Because I didn't want her to give up her life" I look at him "I didn't want her to miss her family, &live the way we live"

"So you know what I mean?" he smirked at me.

Before I was able to say anything he did it. I saw him slash her stomach, &i saw her as she fell.

I couldn't control myself so I ran towards him. he didn't hesitate to move, he just stood there. I jumped on him &i killed him.

"Perrie?" I run towards her "Perrie are you okay?" I put pressure on her cuts to stop the bleeding but I couldn't.

"Zayn..." she said

"Babe the only way to save you is to turn you" I get my fangs out so that I can get ready to bite her.

"No.." she stopped me

"What?" I hold her face looking at me.

"I love you Zayn" she looked me. she was smiling &she wasn't crying anymore.

"I love you too" I gave her one last kiss. I looked down at her she was just smiling. then she left me.

'Flashback ends'

I woke up to Perrie's face. the only person I was able to see was her. I get up from my bed &i see her ring. the only thing I had left was the ring. when I had to leave her I took it. it reminded me that I human wanted to marry me.

"Zayn?" I looked to see Alex at the door.

"Alex" I get up from my bed &put the ring away.

"Oh my god!" she screamed as she came to hug me "thank god you are awake!"

'You should let us change you Alex. so that we won't have to live in fear of loosing you' I thought to myself.
