Chp 10

Alex's POV

Well today was a bust. I spent lunch time by myself which is like whatever, but I was hoping for Niall to visit me again but nothing; &6 period came around &Justin decided to sit next to Karen. I didn't really care but I would catch him stare at me once in a while.

"Hey Alex!" I hear a familiar voice, I turn around &its Justin.

"Oh hey Justin" I look at him while I walk out of class.

"Umm what are you doing on friday?" he asked as he holds to door to the stairs.

"I work" I tell him as I am half way to my locker.

"What about thursday? want to go to the movies?" he asked me with a smile.

"I would like to but Im busy.." I lied " but you can come to my job on Friday &ill cook for you or something" I finished with a grin.

"Alright. see you tomorrow" he waved as he went towards the stairs.

I guess I have a date.

I get home just in time to pick up my mom for her eye appointment.

"Why are you late Alex?" she whined as she got in the car.

"I was talking to someone" I replied with a smile on my face.

"Who?" my mom asked me with her annoying 'flirting' tone.

"A boy named Justin. He is going to go to the bar on Friday &i am going to cook for him" I replied excited

"FINALLY!" she replies more excited then I was!

How sad! even my own mother knows that I haven't had any dates.

We arrive to the doctors office just in time.

As my mom walks in, I am left alone in the waiting room.

"Hey Alex" I feel this cold sensation running down my spine when I hear my name. I turn around &i see Zayn.

"Zayn?" I looked up at him puzzled.

"That's my name, Dont wear it out love"

Umm thats something stupid to say, I think to myself.

"What are you doing here?" I ignore his comment.

"Umm I came... I came to pick up Nialls glasses" I think he is lying. it took him forever to reply to me.

"Umm Can I ask you something?" he said as he sat next to me.

"Ugh yeah shoot" I look at him.

"Um Im writing a story &i was wondering if I can show it to you?"

"Yeah sure" I replied all happy. I didn't know Zayn wrote stories.

"Okay then but you have to close your eyes so that you can visualize it"

I do as he said.

Zayn's POV

"I came to pick up Nialls glasses" I lied. I didn't know what to say

"Can I ask you something?" I asked as I sat next to her

"Ugh yeah shoot" she replied with a smile on her face.

I explain to her that I am writing a story &i want her to visualize it. Since I can't get into her mind &make her see what I want her to see, I have to say it out loud. I think of something simple to see if it works.

I close my eyes &start focusing on her.

"Imagine a forest. filled with blue roses outlined with red. Hummingbirds flying around you. the suns brightness shimmering on the clear waterfall." I open my eyes &i am in the middle of the forest I imagined. it so real.

"Open your eyes"

I see her next to me sitting on the grass. I look at her but she looks at me confused.

"Zayn are you alright?" she asks me

Still focused on her I see hummingbirds fly around her.

"Zayn are you okay?" she touches my shoulder &i come to reality. my visualization disappeared &Alex is looking at me confused.

"Um I have to go" I get up &leave. Im scarred, am I back to reality or am I still in my visualization? I've never felt like this. I shape shift &run home confused.

Alex's POV

"Imagine a forest. filled with blue roses outlined with red. Hummingbirds flying around you. the suns brightness shimmering on the clear waterfall." I imagine what he says but it feels like a dream.

"Open your eyes"

I open my eyes &i sitting in my chair in the middle of the waiting room. I see Zayn looking at me but he seems really into his thought.

"Zayn are you alright?" I ask him. he looks confused, he looks around like if he see's things.

"Zayn are you okay?" I nudged him on the shoulder &he looked at me terrified. what was he thinking?

"Um I have to go" he gets up quick &leaves like if a ghost is after him or something, he looks frightened.

Liam's POV

"Hey how did it go?" I asked Zayn as I was walking down the stairs to the living room. when I saw him he was changed. His eyes yellow, his claws &teeth out. "Zayn what's wrong?!" I asked him in a panic.

"Cut me!" he screamed

"What's going on?... is everything okay?" I hear Harry as he walked in.

"Zayn! what's wrong!?" I was able to hear the panic of his tone.

"Cut me!!" Zayn looked worried, he looked scarred.

"Zayn calm down" Harry walks towards him to trying to comfort him.

"Zayn don't!" I scream as Zayn jumps on Harry.

"Cut me!" Zayn kept screaming

"Harry do it!" I run towards them.

Harry didn't shape shift but his claws came out &scratched Zayn across the stomach.

"What going on here!?" Louis &Niall screamed as they came home from hunting.

Zayn was on the ground as himself. he was calmed &his scratch was healing.

"Zayn what happened?" I looked at him. His eyes showed fear.

"Umm I followed Alex to the eye doctor. I made her a visualization &.... it felt so real. she didn't have an affect towards it but I did. it took me a long time to realize that it didn't work. I was scarred, I didn't know what was real &what wasn't. That why I wanted to get scratched. If it was real I would heal if it wasn't I wouldn't...... she is to powerful"

Zayn was pale &sweaty. I've never seen him so scarred.

"What are we gonna do now?" Louis asked me.

"We stop" I look at them "it's her. we still make believe Justin &his pack that Karen is the one, &on Friday we follow Alex were she works. we hear her sing &we get her"
