Chapter 19

Normal pov

"Now! It's time to call up the winner!" the flamboyant presentator said excitedly. "The winner is..." she started as she read the name. "SATO TAKUMI!" she yelled and the crowd burst out in applause. Takumi's eyes widened and was pushed onto the stage.

"Here ya are Takumi! I was actually rooting for you" she winked and handed him a golden trophee. "I can't believe I won. Thank you for voting for me" Takumi bowed and grinned happily.

Unknown to everyone a girl was staring down on them. "I see Takumi won hehehe." she giggled and jumped down.

Silence

"Hello everyone! My name is Mary and I want to congratulate Takumi!" she smiled and hugged Takumi. "Congratulations" she smiled and got oit of the hug.
"Thank you" Takumi smiled and bowed.

"No problem no problem! Why was I here again?.." she mumbled as she put her fist under her head. "That's right!" She yelled happily and turned to Takumi. "I had to kill you!" she smiled and got out a sharp sword. Thorns suddenly shot up from the ground and wrapped themselves around Takumi. The crowd erupted in screams and ran away. The Sakamaki's and Mukami's tried to get to Takumi, but they were held back by a force.

"TAKUMI" Rosie yelled as she ran up the stage. "ROSIE NO!" Jessie yelled but it was too late.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY" Mary yelled with a sudden change in mood. She slashed of Rosie's head without hestitation.

"ROSIE" Jessie and Takumi yelled at the same time. Takumi struggled against the restraints, but the thorns only cut deeper into his skin.

Jessie sobbed as she held Rosie's head, blood covering her face.

"Okay let's get this over with" Mary said emotionlessly and stabbed Takumi in his stomach. Takumi let out a scream of pain. She smiled wickedly and stood in front of him. "Oh this is so much fun. I wanna torture you evven more~" she giggled and dug her hand into his wound. She grabbed his intestines and slowly pulled them out. "STOP PLEASE" Takumi yelled as tears flowed down his cheeks. He coughed wildly and blood began streaming down his chin.

The vampire brothers were doing all they could to save Takumi, but it was helpless. They were forced to watch him die before their eyes.

"J-jessie...h...elp" Takumi choke out and reached to Jessie who was still sitting on the ground. She glared at him and slapped his hand away. "No way. It's your fault my sister is dead" she sneered and ran away.

Takumi stared at her retreating form and felt himself fall into the darkness. "Oh I almost forgot!" Mary yelled as she injected Takumi with a mysterious liquid. Takumi screamed. It felt as if his body was on fire.

"Well your intestines are just dangling here now... I'm kinda bored now" Mary sighed as she poked Takumi's intestined which were dangling out of his stomach. Mary stood up straight and stabbed his heart.

"Goodbye Takumi!" she giggled and skipped out of the building. His restraints loosened, causing Takumi to fall down, breathing heavily. How was he still alive?

The brothers ran towards Takumi as soon as the force dissapeared. "Takumi!!" they yelled at the same time. Reiji carefully rolled him on his back. "How is he still alive?" he mumbled. "I don't know" Ruki mumbled.

"Oy Takumi! Don't you dare leave Ore-sama!" Ayato yelled with tears in his eyes. Takumi smiled a little and held his hands. "I'm... glad.. I got.. to meet... you.. all" Takumi panted with a sad smile on his face. "Tell my brother.. and parents... I love them. And... Den for.. being like a sister for me..." Takumi smiled as tears rolled down his cheeks.

"You're not going to die! C'mon!" Laito yelled as tears dripped down from his eyes. No one ever saw him cry like this. Even though he never showed it he had fallen in love with Takumi.

Subaru stood in a dark corner facing the wall. His hands pulling out his hair as he stared at the wall with wide eyes. "He's dying" he mumbled and felt the tears drop from his eyes.

Takumi smiled one last time before his grip on Ayato's hand loosened. "no...no!..NOOOO" Ayato yelled. Every one except Subaru cried as the love of their life had passed away.

Reji called his parents and brother and told them the news. They cried and said that they would come there as soon as possible. They didn't blame them for his death. But the question was...Why?

From a distance a certain orange haired male with an eyepatch watched them with wide eyes. "What?... Why?! WHY?!" he growled and punched a tree until his knuckles were bleeding. He howled to the moon and ran inside. He pushed everyone away and caressed his cheek.

"He really is dead huh?" he whispered as tears dripped down his cheek.
