Surviving Sixth Grade - Chapter Two

Sorry I haven't uploaded in a long, long time. I'm just so busy with school and all. So anyways, here's chapter two(:

At the bus stop, me and Bri were the only sixth graders. There was two girls and three boys both 7th and 8th graders. It was just kinda...awkward, no one said a thing. A couple minutes later, the bus came. It was really crowded. Me and Bri had to sit in seat #1 right behind the bus driver. It was kinda funny because all the sixth graders were quiet and the 7th and 8th graders were loud. When we came to Roses stop there were like 15 more people!

"Hi Rose!" Me and Bri said

"Hey guys" Rose said as she took a seat next to Bri making us squished.

When we got to the school, I was so nervous but super excited. We walked through the doors and into the cafeteria where we would have to go every morning. There were already a lot of people. The teachers went over a few lectures and off we went to our homeroom!

"Bye guys!" I said to Bri and Rose

"Bye! good luck!" Rose said

"Bye!" said Bri

I walked to my locker and got all my books and binders. The team I was on (6-1) has all their classes in the mobiles. Which really sucks. Because even when its freezing or super hot out, we have to walk back and forth in and out of the building.

My first class was math. Yippee. I walked in the classroom and i saw my friend Kate right away. I met Kate at the 6th grade picnic.The 6th grade picnic was a couple days before the first day of school, it was where we were put into different groups and got to know everyone and stuff.

"Hi," I said as I took a seat by her

"Hey!" said Kate

Math was basically just lectures. So was Choir and Science, and well lets jusy say the whole day was. I just listened to teacher after teacher tell me where to put what and how everything works. I saw a lot of my friends during passing period. Marci, Kate, Dani, Siviani, Sailor and others.

In study hall, I seriously didnt know anyone. Or, well, I wasn't friend with them. there were a lot of people that looked like they would fall into the popular category. There was a table of boys and a couple of them looked pretty cute. But, of course, they were popular.

As Ms.Keane (the teacher) was doing attendance I happened to notice one of their names were Christan. He had a really deep voice. It was kinda funny.

In social studies, I saw Adaline. She added me on facebook. I heard she went to Brooksview (the elementary school I moved to in 5th grade) for a couple of years but moved when she was in second grade. She looked Korean and she looked like she was one of the popular ones too.

The first day at school wasn't all that bad. As soon as you know it, I was walking out of the school trying to see if my bus was there yet. I met up with Bri and Rose and we waited about 5 minutes and our bus arrived.

"How was school for you guys?" I asked them as our bus took off

"Great!" they both replied.

We talked about our teachers and some new friends we made and how fast the day had went by. It was me and Bri's stop to get off, so we said our byes to Rose and got off the bus.

"You dont have any homework right?" Bri asked

"Nope. Course not."

"Did you see any URHERMS?" I asked

She smiled, "A couple"

"OMG! Really?! You have to point them out tomorrow!"

"Haha okay!"

Once we got to my house, I said bye to Bri and went inside.

"Hi honey, how was school?" my mom asked.

"Good, Lots of Lectures."

"Oh, thats good,"

My mom was already making dinner. Spaghetti. She usually works downtown and takes the train, but since it was me and Jacks's first day of school, she worked from home.

I sat down on the couch and watched tv. I was exaulsted.
