So right now it's study hall, and we all chose to go to the music room and their teaching me how to be like them.

"So first off, you have to learn how to listen to real music" Ashton said going to the large speaker in the corner of the room.

"AC/DC is first" he said, turning on one of their songs. At first the beginning sounded good, but when the guy started singing, I put my hands on my ears. The guy sounded like he was being murdered. And honestly, I wouldn't blame anyone of they wanted to murder him.

"SHUT IT OFF THAT SOUNDS AWFUL!" I screamed.

"What?" Ashton said, pretending to be hurt. He turned it off and Michael went over to it.

"Let's try 'The Rolling Stones'" he said.

He turned on one of their songs, and honestly, they sound ancient. Their like from the 30's or something....

"Ew their old" I said shaking my head.

"Their not old!" He said.

"Whatever"

There was an awkward silence so I sighed.

"This obviously isn't helping" I said putting my head in my hands.

"Let me just try one more band" Calum said taking over the stereo.

"We're going to play All Time Low" Luke said, walking next to Calum. He played All Time Low, and I actually like them. The guy has a really good voice.

I nodded my head, pleased with the sound.

"Their really good!" I said clapping my hands.

"Great!" Luke smiled excitedly.

"Okay, that's good enough. Now your going to learn how to act like a boy...and dress like a boy" Ashton said eyeing my outfit.

I huffed, slumping into the chair I am currently sat in.

I know it's not good posture, but this situation right now, isn't my cup of tea.

"You have to learn to not care what people think" Ashton said dragging a chair next to me.

"How?" I asked.

"You're your own person. If someone doesn't like you, why should you care?"

"Because.... I don't know, it's just hard to explain" I said looking down at my lap.

"If someone was going to walk in here and make fun of your outfit, what would you do?" Michael asked, leaning on the wall.

"Defend myself" I said shrugging

"No! You gotta learn how to be a rebel. You say 'Thanks, I'll remember that next time you choose an outfit' and then turn back to whatever your doing." Calum said.

"Oh..."

"You gotta dress like you don't care. Just wear jeans, a t-shirt, and converses" Ashton said teetering on his chair.

"Can the jeans be designer?" I asked.

"Good question-" Michael started but Luke cut him off.

"No"

"Fine" I sighed.

"You have to learn to be the school rebel. Don't care abut school, skip class, and don't care about what people think. It's easy!" Ashton said.

"It's easy? Are you fucking kidding me? I'm not going to skip damn class to be a fucking rebel" I said smiling.

"Don't worry, it's Opposite Day" I said smirking.

"YAY YOU SAID SAID BAD WORDS" Calum screeched giving me a bear hug.

"Yep" I said smiling.

"So when do I start being a rebel?" I asked.

"Tomorrow"

*******

"Good morning Jen-" Andrea stopped mid-sentence.

"Gooooood morning" I smiled at her.

"What are you wearing?"

"A shirt" I giggled.

"No shit"

"But seriously, what are you wearing?" She continued, her mouth agape.

"You might wanna close that, you don't wanna catch flies" I chuckled at myself.

"What has gotten into you?"

"Nothing! Just changing my style"

"You know you have I wear uniform to school right?"

"I don't give a fuckkk"

I walked out of the yoga room, and went over to he kitchen.

"Helen, would you mind making breakfast?" Austin asked politely, since I scolded him.

"Sure Hun" Helen replied.

"While your at it, make me some" I said while eating an apple.

"What's the magic word?" she teased.

"Now" I said bluntly.

She nodded and started making the food.

Once it was ready I dug in, chewing with my mouth open, earning disgusted glances from Austin and Helen.

"K, bye" I said grabbing my school bag, slinging it over my shoulder. I ran outside and toward the bus stop but the bus doors started closing.

"Shit" I muttered to myself.

I sprinted as fast as I could to the bus, and it stopped opening it's doors. I ran inside and walked to the back of the bus, where Luke was saving a spot for me.

"Thanks" I muttered trying to catch my breath.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Calum drinking some water.

"Can I have some?" I asked.

"No--"

"K thanks" I said grabbing it out of his hands and chugging it.

He grabbed it while I was drinking it, so it spilled all over my shirt.

I started cracking up and so did Calum, Luke, and Ashton. Michael was too busy sleeping to notice.

"Where are your glasses?" Ashton asked.

"I'm wearing contacts"

"Ahh"

The bus arrived at the school and we all filed out, pushing past fat kids that were too slow.

First period is math. I better brace myself for this one.

"Mrs.Martin, you've got detention" Mrs.Braine said as I sat down. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying not to imagine her torturing me during detention. She honestly scares the shit out of me...not literally...

"Mrs.Martin, pay attention!" Mrs.Braine snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry" I blushed looking down at my homework.

"Todays homework is page 78 in your text book, class is dismissed!" She said clapping her hands. My eyes widened. How am I supposed to fit this huge book in my bag?

I stuffed it in as quickily as possible, and zipped it up. I shuffed out the door, trying to get out of Mrs.Braine's death glare.

"Don't forget about detention after school" She yelled harshly after me. I just rolled my eyes and headed to next period which is...shit I forgot. Right as I was about to get out my schedule, Luke grabbed my elbow.

"You have science with me" he chuckled dragging me to our next class.

************

"I have detention" I sighed while stuffing my face with my sandwhich.

"What for?" Ashton asked.

"Not wearing the uniform"

"Which teacher?"

"Mrs.Braine"

Ashton sucked in a breath, but never let it out. Finally he let it out and gave me a worried glance.

"Good luck with that. She's harsh"

"That's what I was afraid of"

"We should all get detention so you won't be alone!" Calum said.

"What will you do?'

"I'll pull her chair out when she sits down" Luke said laughing. I was laughing really hard, too bad I won't be there to see it.

"And I will make inappropriate noises" Calum said chuckling.

"And, I'll be late for class, then barge in during the middle of class and disturb everyone" Ashton said.

"Great, thanks guys" I smiled, throwing away my crust and the rest of my lunch.

**************

The bell rang, signalling that school was over, and I hesitantly walked into Mrs.Braine's classroom, finding that Calum was thankfully already there.

"Hey mate!" Calum said smiling.

"Silence!" Mrs.Braine yelled harshly.

'Hi' I mouthed and sat next to him.

"No, that's not going to work, Jenna, go to the other side of the room" Mrs.Braine retorted.

As I shuffled to the other side of the room, Ashton walked in.

"Hey Je-" he started but Mrs.Braine cut him off.

"Apperently you guys don't know when to shut up. We'll I'll shut you up".

She grabbed duck tape out of her drawer and cut 3 strips off. She grabbed them and slapped it on Calum's mouth. As she was walking toward me, I kept scooting my desk back. When she was a foot in front of me I panicked.

"Child abuse!" I screamed running toward the other side of the room. I slapped my hand over my mouth and whimpered.

She managed to get it on my mouth and made sure to push it extra hard on my lips. I walked over to my desk and sat down.

Finally Luke walked in and was about to say hi but he noticed our mouths were closed shut.

"Luke come here" Mrs.Braine called Luke.

"Shit" he mumbled and walked over to Mrs.Braine. She put tape on his mouth and pointed to the seat in the middle row, all the way in the back. He sat down and I could tell he was staring at me. I turned around and looked at him, but he quickily turned away, looking down blushing. That's when I noticed how attractive he is. The way his cheeks turn a rosy red when he blushes is really cute. And his smile is genuine. His eyes are the preetiest I've ever seen, and thier always bright.

I turned away once he started to lift his head so he wouldn't catch me staring.

"Mrs.Braine, may I please go to the restroom?" Luke asked a few minutes later.

"Do it quickly"

As Luke walked past my desk to leave, he set a note on my desk. When Mrs.Braine wasn't looking, I opened up the note. It read:

'Meet me in the hallway by the locker room?'

I smiled at the note. I wonder why he wants me to meet him.

The door opened revealing Luke. He smiled at me and I smiled back, nodding to show him that I was going to meet him.

"You're all dismissed" Mrs.Braine announced.

"But I need to talk to you Jenna" she said giving me a glare.

Damn, she really hates me.

Everyone left and I walked over to Mrs.Braine's desk hesitantly.

"Jenna I don't know why you just won't wear the uniform"

I just shrugged.

"Please wear it tomorrow"

I sighed. "Fine"

"Thank you" she smiled.

She smiled!

I smiled back and walked out of the room, and started to look for Luke.

I turned down the hall and found where the locker rooms are. Luke was leaned against the lockers typing on his phone.

"Hey" he smiled.

I've seen a lot of smiling today.

"Hi" I said nervously.

This is getting really awkward.

"So I was wondering" he started, pinning me to the lockers. His hands were on either side of me.

"Would you like to go on a date Friday?" He whispered in my ear, his hot breath wavering on my skin.

"Uh-um sure" I stuttered, getting nervous since his body was pressed up against mine, and our noses almost touched.

"Great" he grinned, pecking my lips and walking away just like that. I let out a breath I didn't even notice I was holding in, and started walking home since I missed the bus. Stupid detention.

I'm really torn right now. I hate the way they changed me but at the same time, I love the rush I get from being bad and letting loose.but I like the old me--being popular. But maybe it's time for a change.
