Chapter 4

I unlocked the front door, and walked inside the house.

"HONEY I'M HOME" I screamed setting my keys and backpack by the front door.

"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU WERE FRIENDS WITH 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER" Jane screamed at me.

"Five minutes of what?

"Five seconds of summer" she corrected.

"Who are they?" I asked walking into the kitchen and grabbing a bag of chips.

"How do you not know that, your friends with them"

"I am?"

"Yes" Jane stated as if it were the most obvious thing.

She grabbed her iPad and showed me their newest Facebook post.

'The lads and I made a new friend today. She's lovely :-) -Ash. x'

There was a picture of me in detention, laughing at something Calum had said about Mrs.Braine.

I started to chuckle.

I decided to check my Facebook, and saw that I had friend requests from Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael. I accepted them all, and automatically got a message from Luke, telling me his number. I plugged his number in my phone, and texted him saying it was me.

"CAN I HAVE LUKE'S PHONE NUMBER?" Jane screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Psst no, I don't think he'd appreciate that"

"I'll give you 20 bucks"

"Nope" I said popping the 'p'.

"How about 50?"

"You don't even have 50 dollars"

"You suck" Jane stomped to her room.

"Whatever"

I sat down on the couch and decided to start my algebra homework.

My phone buzzed beside me so I unlocked it and stared at it for awhile.

From: Lukey (:

I'm bored, can I come over?

My heart started beating in my chest. If he did come over what would I say? How do I look? What would he think? Would it be awkward? All these questions started flooding through my head. I decided to not answer him so he would think I didn't get it and he wouldn't come over.

About half way through my homework, my phone buzzed beside me again. I unlocked it and got another text from Luke.

From: Lukey (:

I know you saw that, it says 'read' loser ;p

From: Me

Ugh, fine.

I texted him my address and finished up my algebra homework. I started to read 'The Hunger Games' as I waited for Luke to come over.

I was on page 73 when the door bell rang. I rushed over to the door, my heart beating in my chest, as I fixed my hair. I opened the door and was about to say hello to Luke when I noticed it was just the pizza guy.

Oh, that's right. Austin ordered pizza.

I rolled my eyes as I gave the pizza guy the money. I grabbed the pizza from him, and slammed the door in his face before he could say anything.

"AUSTIN YOU OWE ME 10 BUCKS" I screamed.

"K" he screamed back and ran down the escalator.

Loser.
