SCHOOL
The school i attend is called Ligonier Valley Middle School, the town i live in doesn't supply as many schools other villages do. So my best option was this one, the school has established itself as a student-centred educational institution that is committed to innovation and excellence...blah, blah, blah -That is what the website says, the school itself is not that great: dirty, brown brick building, needs new gym, desks, lockers, i could go on forever but mainly they need to upgrade their 18th century teachers and get some from the 21st century. the other main problem is the whole group situation, our head master of the school: John Meyer, made each student write an essay about themselves so that he could spend his weekend wasting his time reading each composition and sorting them into groups according to our personalities so that we could all find our real friends....What bullshit, has he not heard the phrase, "Opposites attract." ? so to tickle his fancy i wrote a very interesting essay,
Dear Mr. Meyer,
My life at home is extremely hard, unfortunately my mother has Microposia, don't worry if you don't know what it is, i wrote it down for you,
Microposia is a disorientating neurological condition which affects human visual perception. Subjects perceive humans, parts of humans, animals and inanimate objects as substantially smaller than in reality. Generally, the object perceived appears far away or extremely close at the same time. For example, a family pet, such as a dog, may appear the size of a mouse, or a normal car may look shrunk to scale. This leads to another name for the condition, Lilliput sight or Lilliputian hallucinations, named after the small people in Jonathan Swifts Gullivers Travels. The condition is in terms of perception only; the mechanics of the eye are not affected, only the brains interpretation of information passed from the eyes.
My father is bipolar and can get very dangerous from time to time and cheery a few seconds later. So he has moved out of the house and is in the caring hands of the Ligonier mental hospital.
My brother died in a car accident (as you probably know) and now I'm the only normal person left in my home.....
Otherwise i do enjoy reading books about vampires, werewolves and death.
Hope this essay helped.
Lily Kulper
The first outcome of the essay was that he made me see a therapist every thursday, which i didn't attend, because honestly there was no need and the second was that i was placed in a group filled with pupils who have all lost people they knew well. No way in hell was i going to sit with a congregation of human species like that, so at recess I sit on a bench and eat, read or observe my surroundings (not really).
