Nick's POV:
It's been almost three hours and Stella has shown no signs of waking up and her temperature hasn't decreased. Blake is walking around the sofa where Stella lies, trying to figure out what could've gone wrong with the antidote. "If she is perfectly healthy, then what went wrong?" Blake questions to himself. That's when I remember that Stella has been in the drinking habit for a little while. That's what could be preventing her from awakening. She isn't in perfect health; she has alcohol in her system. "Blake, I think I know why Stella's not waking up. It's a very simple solution I guess me and three or four other people know. Try not to prevent me from helping her. No matter what the solution may be." I tell Blake, hoping he won't freak out with what I am about to do. He nods and I head over to the kitchen, looking for any sort of strong alcohol. Whiskey, vodka, tequila, anything at all will do. I find a bottle of old rum, which obviously wasn't going to do. I sigh and grab my phone to dial Marshal's or Hannah's number. I chose to dial Hannah's phone since she would be able to convince Marshal to come hear with a bottle of whatever. I punch in the numbers and wait for Hannah to pick up. "Hello?""Hey, Hannah! I'm gonna make this quick. I need you to come over to Stella's house with a bottle of any strong alcohol. Vodka, anything. Come quick, I'll explain what happened or maybe Blake will. I just need you guys to come, ASAP! Bye, see ya soon!"
"Wa-!" Hannah tries to reply but I hang up. I walk over to the living room with a new ice pack and told Blake that we'll have to wait a bit longer until Stella wakes up. I place the ice pack on her forehead and take a nap.
Hannah's POV:
Nick abruptly hung up, and now I am worried as hell. I look to Marshal to find him looking at a little baby beagle in the cage. "Marshal! Marshal!" I scream, tugging at his arm. "We have to go get some vodka or something and go to Stella's house!!""H-Hey! Calm down Han! Take a breather and then we'll go. I don't want you to riled up when we get there." Marshal says to me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Whatever is happening to Stella and Nick right now requires me to not lose my cool.
"Ok, I'm calm now. Can we go get some tequila for Stella now? This is an extremely important emergency and we need to go now. Comon." I state calmly, heading out the door. The dogs can wait, our friends are more important. I walked out the door and left the shop, Marshal following closely behind. I got into the passenger seat and waited for Marshal to climb into the driver's seat at take me to a store. He drove to a WalMart and I told him to wait in the pickup area. I would only take a minute and come back with a tequila. I got into the store and grabbed the bottle, went to the register, payed and ran back into the car. "Drive Marshal!!" Marshal floored it to Stella's house, avoiding the cops miraculously. We barged into her house. "STELLA!!" Nick's and Stella's brother just looked at me like I have no manners, but then Nick saw the bottle in my hand and grabbed my wrist, dragging me into the kitchen. I handed him the bottle and he filled a needle with the tequila and a weird liquid.
Nick's POV:
I ran back to the couch and lifted Stella's shirt so I could inject the improved antidote into her stomach. I injected the antidote into her stomach and waited for her to wake up...... Nothing was happening. Blake picked her arm up and checked her pulse, then, in a panicked way, put two fingers up to her neck. Then, he hung his head....Blake's POV:
No no no no, this can't be happening!! What have I done?!?! I'm a MONSTER. I looked at Nick with sad eyes. "I'm so sorry, Nick. I've.... I've killed my sister!!!" Nick dropped to the floor at Stella's side and held her hand while crying. I walked up to my room and grabbed my pistol that I kept in case there was a burglar or someone like that in the house. I walked back downstairs and handed Nick the gun. "Please, if you hate me for doing this, kill me now." He grabbed the pistol and threw it out the window."Stella would want you to live. Even of you did scare the crap out of her, she'd want you to be happy. She enjoyed her time alive, I'm sure of it. Live on, in Stella's name"
"Understood. I'll plan the funeral...." I walked over to my desk and started to plan when a man walked over to me.
"I'll pay for everything." He said as he laid a hand on my shoulder.
Nick's POV:
Please be in a good place, Stella. I love you. I'll tell your tale my angel.Hannah's POV:
Stella, this is an unbelievable occurrence that just had to happen to you. Rest easy, honey.Blake's POV:
I'm sorry Stella, I've been nothing but a jerk to you. I'm sorry, but... I'll live long enough to tell your tale. Or at least, what I know of your tale.Marshal's POV:
I'm sorry I wasn't here for you sooner. If I had driven faster, you'd probably still be here. Please be happy, wherever you are now.A/N: HEY GUYS!! I haven't updated in a while and I'm sorry, please tell me what you think of this chapter and if you want a prologue or a funeral scene. Ok. Bye!!!
