I walk along the mainroad to the Hokage’s office.
It is sunny and Yuki-hana is too hot in her fur.
“Well, I could shave you.” I respond to her whining.
She shuts up.
I see a blond boy running down the street with a can of paint.
There are two ninjas running after him, but he’s smiling.
“Naruto! Why did you do such a thing?”
“You’re really gonna get it this time!”
They try to reason with him.
Try.
“I don’t care!” He shouts.
“You know your problem? You can’t do the things I do!” He laughs.
His voice gets softer as he gets further away until I can’t hear him.
“You know what, Yuki? I think that I’ll fit in well here.” I smirk.
I start doing slow cartwheels down the street.
I walk to the academy with Yuki.
“Yo, Iruka. I am coming here now.”
But he’s preoccupied with the blond.
He’s tied up on the ground.
“You failed the last graduation test, and the one before that.” Iruka scolds.
“This is no time to be goofing off you fool!”
The blondie ignores him.
“We will have a re-test on the Transformation Jutsu!” Iruka smirks.
“Great, I’ll go first!” I snarl and transform into my Demon Panther.
“Do not ignore me, Iruka!” I growl loudly.
“Aijin…” He stares.
“I still need a place to sit, Iruka.” I sniff, undoing my Jutsu.
I sit back and notice Yuki-hana isn’t with me.
“Yuki-hana. They will not touch you, ‘cept maybe Iruka, but you did accept…” I drawl.
Yuki-hana walks over to Iruka and butts his knee with her head.
He pets her and she purrs.
When the bubblegum-head tries to pet her, she snaps at her fingers.
The girl squeals in shock.
“Yuki, leave her hand on her arm.” I sigh and Yuki comes over to lie at my feet.
The bubblegum-head tries her hand at Transforming.
“Sakura Haruno. Here I go…” She isn’t sure of herself at all.
Pity.
She successfully completes the Jutsu.
“Transform!”
“Okay.”
“I did it!” She shouts, and I hear a soft “Cha!”
“Did you see that, Sasuke?” She grovels.
