The next chapter is the final chapter. Don't worry, there's a sequel. Or, there will be later. I don't have much written yet, as I haven't seen up to Shippuden. So I'll start another story. Yeah, love me for this. I'll put it on here before quizilla for once. This is Kemuri.

I have called Yuki, we need to reestablish our home in the trees.
She is getting closer to me, slowly.
I still have the blood in my eyes, it is the only way I can see.
I can only see blood, and faint veins of plants.
Casting my eyes around the forest, I see something with blood.
I walk over to it, barely avoiding trees and bushes.
Looking closer, ‘it’ is three children.
One is six, one is five, and one is three.
The six year old is the girl.
She looks up at me, scowling.
“Who’re you?”
I smile slightly.
“I am Aijinoshi. Who are you? Do you have parents?”
She looked at me critically.
“I am Sakkaku. These are my brothers, Kemuri and Hanto.”
She says this as though I’m lucky she’s telling me.
“We left to get away from our parents.”
I have to say, I’m impressed.
She looks rather spoiled to be doing that.
“Hm. Well, children need someone to look after them, and I’m guessing that you don’t want to go back to your parents if you ran away.”
She shares a look with Hanto, and a small smirk crosses her face.
I turn around and start walking back into the trees.
Not hearing footsteps, I turn.
“You coming?”
I feel the astonishment radiating off of both of them.
They slowly smile, and come running.
“Let me take Kemuri.”
Yuki-hana is not happy.
She does not like the new cubs in her den.
She does not like the cries the youngest one makes.
She doesn’t like the sounds the oldest makes while sleeping.
She does not like little hands in her fur.
But she likes me.
So she puts up with it.
Also, she knows it will be good practice.
Yuki is eleven years old.
She has been through the winter, the first at one specific place.
She is expecting cubs.
I haven’t seen my team in several months.
They work better without me.
During the Chunin Exams, I stayed in the forest, except for my match, I knew what would happen.
