Chapter 3 - To the bar

Your POV:

I manage to get back home, and realisde as soon as I get through the door, that it needs a good clean. That will waste time, right? I packed away the foods I had just bought and instantly began putting everything around the flat in their original places, and thats when I hear my phone vibrating on my bedside table in the other room. 

I ran through to my bedroom, remembering that I had given my number to Joey fricken Graceffa and it could possibly be him calling me! I look at the number on my screen, and it was a number I have never seen before. Could this be him already?! 

I picked up the phone, and answered with a quiet hello. 

"Hey, it's Joey. You free tonight?"

Joey wants to hang out? My heart began to race, and a huge smile grew across my face. 

"Yeah, I am" I composed myself

"Cool gurl, wanna hang out?" His voice raised a note

"Sure, what time?" 

"Pick you up at seven and we can head down to my favourite bar?"

"Sounds good to me"

I gave him my address, and even though it was five thirty, I ran to my closet and sifted through my clothees, trying to find my best outfit. 

*SEVEN O'CLOCK*

I looked at the clock, and the hands were exactly at seven o'clock. The second bar was ticking, and every second that it ticked away, my heart began to race faster and faster. 

KNOCK KNOCK!

He was here! I opened the door, and there Joey was standing, in a strpiy t-shirt, dark velvet blazer and skinny jeans, with his hair neatly swept to the side. The door wafted his strong scent into my flat and clung to the inside of my nose. 

"You ready?" He smiled, bouncing in his step

"Let me just get my bag" You replied running back inside to gather everything you may need. Phone, check. Purse, check. Make-up, check. Mint mouth spray? check. And off I went into his car and to his favourite bar.
