Brooke Rhodes will do anything to save her brother from the grasps of S.E.R.O. (Supernatural Experimentation Research Organization). And so she agrees to take part in one of their schemes to save her brother's life. She has to distract one of the most powerful werewolves in the world.

But somehow it leads to her waking up in an unfamiliar bed the next day. Realizing what she has done, Brooke runs out of the hotel room thinking she won't have to see the guy currently taking a shower again.

Going back to S.E.R.O. was also a mistake; they don't release her brother but lock her in a deserted room. Only taking interest in her when she starts getting sick and they couldn't be happier to with the child of one of the most powerful supernatural beings in the world, Grant Underwood.

By luck she is rescued and she did not expect the pack under the command of the Alpha, who is the father of her baby, the Savior.

But she knows that with S.E.R.O. out there looking for her, she will never be safe. Because they still have her brother and they want her unborn child.

Personal opinion and comments:

Not a Mistake, on first look might seem like a very out of place book with gross action scenes and chapters filled with experiments, fights and lots and lots of bloodshed. On the contrary it is quite different. Despite the primary misgivings on the story based on the prologue and cover, the book is a breath of fresh air among all the books filled with true mates, pack wars, cliché romance and so on. In simple words, the story is of a half werewolf woman who inadvertently ends up pregnant and then reencounters her baby daddy who happens to be a very powerful werewolf known to belong to a highly dangerous and hunted breed. The story lacks the lovey-dovey romance that many seem to love instead shows love that happens gradually without any crazy interference or major romantic moments. The short sweet encounters and dialogues that bring the two people together are the real heartwarming moments. The additional characters and some of Grant's interesting pack member increase the appeal of the story. It would be inconsiderate to not mention the action and violence scenes which are presented in such a way that it seems natural. It is quite nice to see Brooke beat up a couple of bad guys of her own.

Positives:

·         Considerably good language and grammar.

·         Absence of cliché romance taken overboard that seems to be too unnatural, which was replaced by short sweet moments that can capture hearts much more effectively.

·         Descriptive action scenes.

·         Vast plot presented in a simple setting making it less overwhelming and more comfortable to read.

·         Story is presented in a humane way which people can actually relate to.

·         Other characters are given a lot of importance and

Negatives:

·         The background or past information is a little vague. It does not exactly affect the story, but it would be better if that part is more detailed.

· The book ended well, but much too quickly. Though the author tied everything up together it would have been better if she explained things a little more. I personally would have loved it if she included the part with the fight at SERO.

In summation I would simply like to say that this book is one of my absolute favourites and I love to read it on and on. I usually don't like to read books with too much violence cramped together in wattpad but I absolutely love this one. This book is a good choice for people who like romance (it is the cute and simple kind), action (a little fighting, car chase, gun fight etc.), and family bonding (this book has a lot of sibling relationships: sister-sister, brother-sister). As a whole it is a simple blend of love, friendship, and loyalty in a complex backdrop.
