Personal opinion and Comments:
We all come across a large number of werewolf books on wattpad with fiery females and scary, hotheaded Alpha's. Octavius is a book that looks quite intimidating on first glance, but as we turn each page, we can see a new aspect of the main characters being revealed before our own eyes. The vulnerability, the concept of family and the power of the highly political world of the werewolves is easily exhibited in this book. I have mixed opinions on different aspects of this book, sometimes I get so frustrated I loose composure and other times, it's just plain sweet.
Positives:
· Good flow between chapters and scenes. Everything seems to blend in together.
· Characters are relatable and yet far beyond our reach. There is a significant amount of the human element and somewhere along the way, the connection can be felt.
· Fun dialogues, appropriate use of humor.
Negatives:
· Part 2 is definitely not my favourite part. It seems like an incomplete mess and is totally unnecessary. The author could simply have incorporated it in the first part itself.
· The villains and the background seems a little too vague, paying a little more attention to small details would have helped understand the situation more.
If you ask me if this is one of the best and most heartwarming books, I'd say it is different and amazing in its own way. I like it for my own reasons and maybe you might like it for something else or may not like it. There is only one way to find out... ( That is, if you are not satisfied with my review.)
