Personal opinion and comments:
Throughout my time in Wattpad, a particular category of books always caught my attention-Slave themes. This book too tells the story of a young girl who gets captured and sold as a slave. I felt really bad in the beginning of the book when she is make a slave at a harem and forced to live at the whim of a selfish and contemptuous man. Well, you would ask me why I added such a book if it truly is quite bad. All I have to say is that every cloud has a silver lining and at the end of every dark tunnel is a light that's leads to freedom. This book is a special one, and disclosing even the tiniest bit can pose an issue as I'll end up giving too much information. I'll say one thing to all my readers, I read this book and fell in love with the Dragon King and wouldn't mind having one of him for myself. This is a story of a young woman who ended up in a terrible situation and begins to crave her freedom leading to a series of unfortunate events. Like a said, there is a Silver Lining. To find out what it is find the book and read it yourself.
Positives:
· Very nice plot.
· A very good job of using a game to assist the theme.
· Grammar is reasonably good.
· Good descriptions and explanations.
· The way the author portrayed the transition of the mindset of the female lead and her emotions is quite good and it was easy to feel her emotions and understand her predicament. Same goes for the other characters.
Negatives:
· There were issues in the sentence construction and grammar on some occasions.
· Spelling issues were also seen, but very rarely. (Just a couple of times in a few chapters – maximum).
· Some missing parts that is left unexplained in the epilogue. Nothing that affects this book or the story. This is supposed to help prepare us for the next book.
The story is complete and was tied up in a nice bow. The sequel is a new part and nothing that affects the first book directly so you don't have to worry about the book seeming incomplete. You should try reading this book. It is quite good and you will surely enjoy it. Like I said I love the Dragon King and Amber so you might like them as well.
