Between ardent battles of wits and fiery words, her defiance angered him. But, her beauty and passion melted his heart. Slowly but surely she was going to lose this battle of the heart to him.

Personal Opinion and Comments:
Imagine yourselves in a world filled with warriors, kings, lords and soldiers in every household. Men are taught to wield swords before even learning to survive. Women are bound to their homes, made to live to the common stereotype. Among all this, lived a young girl with her widowed father who loved to argue instead of sing and fight instead of cooking or sewing. Our female lead is a girl filled with fire in her heart, determination of steel and is so stubborn that nothing can stop her from having her way. Throw in an equally stubborn warrior, an Earl who is known to be a ruthless fighter and undefeated hero and the next thing I know, I'm in an alternate world.He is sworn to protect her and she is hell bent on throwing herself in danger. Throw love and their entwined hearts in the mix and we can find ourselves in a tale of passion, chaos and violence. Well, I'm not giving anything away, so if you want to know the story...go read it yourselves!!!
Positives:
· Good language.
· Wonderful plot.
· Author did a good job of making us feel as if we are a part of that era.
Negatives:
· Some issues with the terminology as showed a different time sometimes,but she covered most of the words and sentences and so the problem was barely noticeable but still there.
Most of us girls like to have a little fun here and there.
