Hope went out with her friends and as expected, they talked non-stop. While window shopping at the mall, she saw a familiar face, Jay's face to be exact.
Hope: Guys.. Is that Jay over there? [points at some random guy]
Crystal: Yup. Why don't you go talk to him?
Sofiya: Crystal's right. Why don't you go approach him? He's one of your best friends anyway. [giggles]
Hope: You think he'll talk to me after not talking to him for may be weeks? I'm scared he might not talk to me anymore.
Sofiya: We all know that Jay's a nice guy. Go on. We'll just text you later.
Hope walked towards Jay who's currently waiting for his turn in Starbucks.
Hope: Hi, Jay! Nice to see you here.
Jay: Oh hey! How have you been? Haven't talked to you for a while.
Hope: I'm great. What about you? I missed my best friend! [laughs]
Jay: I'm great too. Stop it, Hope. What do you want?
Hope: The usual.
Jay: Green tea frappe with hazel nut syrup on a grande cup, am I right?
Hope:That's right.
After that conversation, Jay and Hope continued talking and didn't even bothered checking the time. The only time that they stopped talking was when Hope's mom called her to remind her that it's already late. Jay drove her home to make sure that she's safe. Hope just washed her body and finally rested.
