Days have passed and Hope just made herself busy to help her forget what happened. Every time Hope sees Will with Rainie she can't afford to look at them because it makes her heart break more.
Jay: Hope! Wait up.
Hope: Hi Jay, You good?
Jay: Yep. What happened to you?
Hope: Want to go to the park with me?
Is it okay to share my misery with you?
Jay: Of course. We've been friends since forever so it's 101% okay.
They went to the park near Hope's house and both sat at the two vacant swing. The park was peaceful, there are no kids playing around. Hope wished that her heart was peaceful like the park. She started to tell Jay what happened and she can't help but to cry while staring blankly.
Hope: It's Will.. You know I like Will, right? He likes Rainie.. He's trying to court her. I don't know what to do, Jay. [slightly cries]
Jay kneel down in front of her. She cupped Hope's face and wiped her tears.
Jay: [hugs Hope] Hey.. It's okay. It will be okay soon..
Jay don't know what to feel. But one thing is for sure, he don't want to see Hope crying.
Hope: I wish..
They stayed like that for a while when Jay decided to walk her home. When they reached Hope's front door, Jay kissed her forehead and hugged her once again before leaving.
