"So should we tell him?"
"Why are we waiting?" The wife replied.
"He might not be ready."Poor boy's only four years old."He might not even understand what adopted means". Said the husband.
The worrisome wife sighed. "Let's just get it over with."
The husband and wife entered the room. They walked over to their beloved son unsure of how to speak to him.
The wife said the first word."Son"
"We uh, have something to tell you." The husband said immediately after.
"Son, you're adopted" they said in unison.
The small, black and white dog looked up confused.
"I TOLD you he wouldn't understand!" Said the husband.
