Natalie's p.o.v


As I left Nico to go to art I could feel the stares but I just keep remembering what Nico said and its true I've been invisible for to long so fuck everyone else. I'm the one who has a guy that loves me for who I am and will never leave me so I can do this. In art Danny Montgomery sits next to me and asks if I'm enjoying my first day , I can't believe he thinks I'm new here. I don't correct him just to see what's happens and he spends all class making me laugh and saying nice things about me. Next is history so I trudge along missing Nico and wishing he wasn't older than me so we could have class together . As I go in I get a lot of looks , nasty mean ones from most of the girls and I'm not sure what kind of looks from the guys but their looking. I'm sitting next to a jock that's probably dated every popular girl in school.

" hey I'm Logan you new here"? He asks blatantly eye raping me which is very unnerving , I decide to tell him the truth he makes me uncomfortable,

" no I've been at this school all my life actually" I say trying to sound board. He looks me up and down with confusion in his eyes,

" no way I would have remembered you, what's your name"? He asks with a smirk,

" Natalie Adams " I say and his mouth falls open , he stays that way for a few seconds,

" the freak that's always wearing the hoodies, well if I knew what was under that hood I would have taken it off years ago" he leers and just then the teacher comes in to start class. All the way through it Logan keeps brushing his leg against mine and trying to get my attention but I pretend to focus on my work . At the end I sit my bag up on my desk to put my books in and of course it falls to the floor spilling everything out . I wanted to get out to see Nico so I try and get everything back in my bag as fast as I can when the door shuts and I hear the lock click. I look up to see Logan with an evil grin on his face and I start to panic,


" um what are you doing " I say my voice wavering, he walks towards me with me backing up till I'm against the wall .


" we'll now I know what's under that hood of yours I want to see what else your hiding " he smirks as he reaches me. My heart is beating so fast that I think it will burst , he puts his hand out to touch me reaching for my waist. I smack his face,

" get the fuck away from me I have a boyfriend" I shout, his face turns red and anger shoots through his eyes . I try and sink closer to the wall as he leans in, he grabs my hands and puts them up above my head holding them in one hand . I try and struggle but his legs and chest are pressed against me so tight I can't really move, he leans in whispering in my ear

" we'll I won't tell if you don't , and you better believe you won't be telling because if you do I'll find you and it's not like anyone would believe you anyway" he laughs he unzips my jacket and starts roaming his hand all over me his hand reaches the top of my jeans and he says

" let's see if the freak is still a virgin shall we" and he pops my button , I start to cry trying to struggle. His hand is just moving down when the door bursts open and my heart soars its Nico . His eyes turn black in a matter of seconds and his fangs pop out In a flash Logan is thrown off me to the other side of the room . Nico takes me in his arms inspecting me for any damage, when he sees I'm ok he flashes to the other side of the room and has Logan pinned to wall by his throat . He lunges at him fangs bared and sinks them into his neck and starts gulping down the blood . I run over and try and pull him away but he won't budge,

" Nico stop he's not worth it please let's just go I want to go home with you" I plead he pulls away and looks at me his eyes soften and he lets go , he wipes the blood off his face licks his finger and bend down to rub Logan's neck so there's no bite marks . He leans in and whispers something in Logan's ear and stands up , he pulls me in does up my jeans and jacket and walks out with me under his arms . We don't stop until we're at his car. In the car the shock has me shaking and I can't help but cry , in an instant we arrive at my house . He picks me up and carries me up to my bed and sits me down,

" Natalie look at me are you okay" he asks worry all over his face. I wipe off fresh tears that refuse to stop and look him in the eyes,

" sniff yeah I sniff think so" I say " it's just sniff I was so scared sniff and your eyes and you were so angry it was sniff really scary"

Nico holds my face and wipe my tears with his thumbs,

" I would do anything to keep you safe you of all people never need to be scared of me okay I'm just sorry I didn't get there sooner at first I thought maybe someone was talking to you and you were scared, I promise ill be there in seconds if anything like that every happens again " his eyes look so full of love and the tingles are all over my face, I nod and lean in to kiss him a sweet tender kiss.








Nicholas's p.o.v

She tastes of mango tears and her as we kiss gentle kisses, her lips are so soft from crying. After we break the kiss I take her shoes and jacket off and hold her in my arms on the bed till she falls asleep. I sit thinking how mad I was at that fucker , I would have drained him if she haven't stopped me . I still feel the rage bubbling up inside me I need to feed more but I don't want to leave her, I don't want to risk hurting her either so I slip out in the search of someone that no one will miss.


After feeding and hiding a bum that was in an ally I make my way back to Natalie's , I'm felling better and all I want to do is be there for my mate. A gust of wind blows a scent towards me , trackers I would know that smell anywhere. Their definitely here so why haven't they done anything yet , I pretend I haven't smelt them and speed to Natalie's house . She's sleeping soundly on the bed and relief floods me, I'll have to be alert now I know the trackers are out there. Natalie's can't leave my side for a while , I don't know what my fathers planning but with his mental state it can't be good.


I spend the rest of the night holding her enjoying her shivers whenever I touch her , I'm going to have to tell her but I leave it as long as I can. Things are perfect between us just now I've never felt warmer al these years have been cold. Cold skin, cold heart and cold mind, now everything is warm even my skin started to heat up as soon as I saw her. Ill protect her even if it means killing every one of my fathers guards and my father if it comes to it, it would be better to turn her so ill ask her if she's ever thought about it when she wakes up its all that I can do for now.
