Natalie wakes up in my arms and smiles she looks so cute all sleepy and messed up, she stretches and turns to me ,


" hey do you ever sleep" she laughs and gets up to got to the bathroom, I hear her brushing her teeth and washing her face . When she's done she leaps onto me and smacks her lips against mine giggling as she does.

" no I don't really sleep only if I'm injured or hungry would I need to" I say laughing at her face , she looks all thoughtful for a second,

" don't you miss it? I love my sleep it used to be the best part of my day laying in clean soft sheets and drifting off till nothing matters anymore" she sighs

" we'll I do sometimes miss its but I just don't need it's anymore, and what do you mean sleep used to be the best part of your day?" I ask and I see a blush creeping up her face.

" what come on tell me" I beg doing my best sad face that makes her laugh,

" fine it used to be the best part of my day until I met you "she says quietly a big smile spreads over my face ,

" and just when I though I couldn't love you anymore" I say grabbing her to try and tickle her. She squirms out from my hold and starts to run away, I smile knowing I could catch her in a second but ill have some fun first. I follow her down the stairs not far behind her listening to her giggle as she runs. I chase her around sofas and tables feeling blissfully happy just seeing her face light up, we get to the kitchen work tops each at a side . When I go one way she goes the other , I want her in my arms so I jump clean over and scoop her up in my arm hearing her shriek and wiggle I can't help but laugh.

" that's not fair" she giggles " you cheated" I place her down on the kitchen counter and stand between her legs, its now or never.

" we'll if you we're a vampire we could chase each other all day" I say in a joking voice so I don't scare her. She looks deep in thought then looks me in the eyes,

" would you want me to become one"?she asks absently rubbing her hands down my chest , I think how to put it and say,

" well.... I guess it would be nice to know we would be together forever but I love you just the way you are and wouldn't want you to do it just because of me" she looks thoughtful for a bit ,

"How about I think about it ? I mean its not like anyone would miss me or anything but I just don't think I could handle anymore changes right now" I nod accepting her answer because I know this is all still new for her , the decision is all hers ill love her either way.



Natalie's p.o.v



" besides its my birthday next week got to enjoy it while I can not every day you turn 18" I laugh, maybe when I'm a bit older ill let him turn me. I get distracted by his fingers brushing my thighs,

" really well ill have to plan something special then won't I" Nico smirks and moves his finger up into my inner thigh. The heat that's building up under his hand starts to spread and my lips automatically seeks his.

" how about we skip school for a few days " he whispers against my neck sending sparks all over, I just nod I don't want to go to that place anyway its a buzz kill. I feel like we're being watched and look around to see who it is,

" what's wrong" says Nico as his stance changes from relaxed to tense,

" I just got a creepy feeling that someone was watching us" I laugh feeling stupid but Nico sniffs the air and his eyes go black .

" what is it " I ask getting an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach, Nico looks around sniffing and growling.

" stay here and don't move okay" he asks holding my face I nod and he flashes away at vampire speed, paranoia gets the best of me and every shadow seems scary and I jump at every noise.a hand touches my shoulder and I scream and start to fall off the counter . Strong hands grab my waist and I start to struggle when the tingles start and I relax,

" hey it's okay it's just me , I couldn't find anyone but I think someone was out there" Nico says taking me in his arms ,

" how about we spend some time being lazy with DVDs and junk food " ? I nod and wrap my arms around him tighter,

" I can't think of anything better to do" I reply feeling so safe in his arms
