You look over to see the very concerned Joe Sugg.

His soft eyes were wondering all over your face, but he stayed quiet.

"I-i.. just had a fight with my friend. no-o big deal, really." you say wiping your face with Caspar's sweatshirt you kept on from before.

"I mean I'm not an expert, but I haven't seen someone cry this hard, unless it was a big deal." he paused and played with his thumbs in his lap.

"Y/N, you don't need to be strong all the time." he says ending with a sigh. "you can break down, and feel. your not a robot."

he's right. You weren't okay, and this was a big deal. You were always used to hiding your emotions and feelings. You rarely was one to cry in front of people, or even cry in general. You were so exhausted of bad news. all this was turning you into a completely different and bitter person.

"I'm going to text Caspar to come and sit with you. from what I've heard, you two are really good for each other."

You nod and a small smirk cascades over your face. the thought of Caspar calmed you a little but also made you sick. his presence made you happy, just like his absence made you feel almost empty. his touch was like a drug. he could make you feel safe, secure and happy.

just then, both Joe and you hear a slam of an apartment door followed by big goofy foot steps running down the hall. Joe rises from the floor and the warmth he made on your shoulder suddenly goes cold. You shiver and pull your legs in closer.

"nice sweatshirt." Joe says with a goofy grin just as Caspar reaches you both.

You could feel yourself blush slightly, but was taken aback by Caspar. his light pink face was searching and scanning your own. a worried look was displayed on his face making wrinkles appear on his forehead. you wanted to smooth them out and tell him not to worry, but he would anyway.

"I found her siting here, very upset. I felt like you could help her a little better than me." Joe winks, and Caspar smiles big. a heartwarming smile.

"thank you Joe, really.. but why are you even home? thought you were staying at the Zalfie household?"

Joe answers as he begins to walk down the hall, "they are too cute and cuddly for me. had to escape there 'adorableness'." he dramatically pretends to throw up, and you give him a half smile.

You mouth the words "thank you", and he gives you a silly face making a heart with his hands. You laugh genuinely for the first time in awhile; probably since the first time Casp and you hung out.

"so.." Caspar begins, sitting next to you where Joe had. Although Joe was bigger than you, Caspar was taller and just larger than Joe so he felt like an actual teddy bear, with muscles.

you could feel tears prickling your eyes. Before they could leave your eyes you shove your face into Caspar's chest. you don't want to cry anymore, but the tears fall and fall onto his sweatshirt. you began sobbing and shaking once again.

"shh shh, everything is okay. I'm here now. just tell me what happened, when you are ready." Caspar spoke softly, rubbing your back, calming your breathing.

you raise your head from his shoulder and begin to speak, but it came out weak and raspy. Caspar didn't seem to mind though, he just listened and nodded occasionally. you kept eye contact the entire time, his ocean blue eyes staring into your own. he held your hands in his own. rubbing small circles and hearts into your skin.

he listened. he seemed to care.
just like Kenzie.
she always listened. she always cared.

you never thought it was possible to meet someone who cares as much as Kenzie.

you've only known Caspar for about a week, but he treated like you've known each other for 20 years, easy.

THE END
much love xx
