Chapter 8

Victoria's Point of View.

I woke up next to Roman on the hospital bed. I gazed at Roman. He is sleeping like a baby. He's adorable.

He started shuffling around and fluttered his eyes open. I quickly turned my head and looked out the window so he wouldn't know I was staring at him.

"Haha. Had a good sleep?" He chuckled.

"Yeah." I nodded in response and continued to gaze out the window.

I was trembling. I was freezing in this hospital room.

Roman must have noticed because he slowly put his arms around my waist. He wrapped them protectively. I felt safe.

"Better?" He uttered.

"Definitely." I chuckled and faced him.

He gazed into my eyes. I felt uncomfortable and safe at the same time.

"I need to go..sorry." He said nervously.

"Where?" I said.

I focused on his face. He didn't want to look at me.

"I'm sorry , b-babe. I need to leave. I'm late." He said before pecking me a kiss on the lips and then rushing out.

He left..

"Stop pouting Vicky!" Skye begged.

"I can't. I'm hone finally and he left."

"He will come back." Skye promised.

He should come back.

Suddenly I got a call from Roman. I picked up quickly.

"Roman!" I screamed into the phone.

"Vic.." He sounded depressed.

"Y-yes?" I stuttered. I was nervous.

Skye was staring at me: motionless.

"I made it." He started. He made what? What did he mean?

"What? Made what? I'm confused Roman." I didn't know what to do.

"I got 4 yeses Vic! I got 4 yeses from X Factor." He said sad and excitedly.

"You auditioned?"

"Yes. I won , I got 4 yeses."

I'm so happy for him! I didn't know he could sing.

"B-but I have to leave.." He said less-excitedly.

"What? Leave where?" I was confused and hurt.

"I have to go to Los Angeles , I'm leaving Chicago." He said.

I broke down in tears. Silently crying my eyes out.

He was leaving..

"B-but , us?"

"I'm afraid that will have to wait , babe..I'm sorry I got to go pack. Bye." He said right before he hung up.

I dropped my phone and continued to cry.

"Babe , what's wrong?" Skye asked , holding me.

"He's leaving..forever." I broke down more. I was hurt.

"Who's leaving? Roman?"

"Y-yes."

"It's okay. I'm here , Vic." She hugged me tightly.

I wanted Roman here. But , I couldn't have him. He was leaving. He might make it to the finals. I would lose the person I love..forever.

"You should let me love , love you , love you-u oh oh."

I was watching Roman's audition over and over.

He sang beautifully. He deserved to win. It just hurts so badly.

Today was the day he is leaving. He is coming over to say his last goodbyes.

I was crying while watching his audition.

He was so happy that he got four yeses. He was cheering and jumping. Even Simon said yes.

"Vic , they are here!" My mother shouted.

I got up and wiped my tears away.

I waltzed toward the door and saw Roman , his mother and my mom standing there.

I walked up to Roman.

"Hey." Was all I uttered.

"Hello."

I broke down in tears. This is the last time I will hear his voice.

He hugged me tightly while I cried into his chest.

"I will miss you Vic." He said , brushing my hair slightly.

"I will miss you so much Roman." I said as I let out sobs.

"I love you , babe."

"I love you too Roman."

We pulled away and gazed into each others eyes.

He crashed our lips together. Passionate kiss. Meaningful.

He pulled away.

"This is it." He said.

"Our last goodbyes." I said , intertwining our hands.

"Goodbye , love."
