Imagine 1

This first chapter is actually written in a different pov than the rest of the book. And I promise, the imagines do get better! They get better at the very first update.. so read imagines 1-18 at your own risk. ;)

Y/N and Steve were sitting on the couch watching a movie. Although, Y/N was more caught up with social media on her phone. She was getting through the explorer on Instagram when something caught her eye. It was Rick Astley's song. This giving her an idea...
"Hey Steve."
"Yes?"
"We're no strangers to love." She said not even singing, but in a calm talking tone. "Huh?"
"You know the rules and so do I."
"What's are you even talking about?"
"A full commitment's what I'm thinking of."
"Babe, we're married.. We can't get more committed than that."
"But Steve, you wouldn't get this from any other guy."
"You're a girl."
"I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling.. Gotta make you understand.." And all of a sudden she burst into song, but it was more of a yell. "NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP, NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN." she sang getting up and jumping on the couch making Steve jump a bit.
"What the hell, Y/N?"
"NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND AND DESERT YOU!"
"Babe, come here..." Steve said offering her a hand but you jumped off the couch and went full on serenade. Dance moves and everything... "NEVER GONNA MAKE YOU CRY. NEVER GONNA SAY GOODBYE. NEVER GONNA TELL A LIE AND HURT YOU!" Steve at this point was just full on confusion. Y/N decided to give him a break and finish this later. She decided to act as if it never happened. The next morning, she woke up to the smell of pancakes.
"Hey babe, you're awake."
"Ugh, I don't wanna be."
"Hey, Y/N, what was last night about?"
"What about last night?"
"Never mind." She and Steve went to work, Y/N worked as an avenger as he did. She went to the training room where all of the avengers were.
"Hey lovebirds."
"Natasha go away."
"But Babe, ... We are lovebirds.." Steve said kissing the top of her head. All of the avengers had sparing partners. All of the avengers had gone except for Steve & Clint.
"Hey Steve, I'm gonna go get a shower." She said leaving the room.
"Okay- meet me in the lobby in 30 minutes." Y/N left knowing what her next move was. She got your shower and knew when Steve was almost done training  with Clint. She could hear them taking a break so she transported to the training room so they wouldn't hear the door open. Y/N transported in and before he could say anything she started singing.. "We've known each other for so long. Your hearts been aching but you're too shy to say it." Steve starts to reply but Y/N quickly interrupts.
"Inside we both know what's been going on. We know the game and we're gonna play it." She could hear Clint laughing, although she wasn't sure if it was at what she was doing or Steve's reaction..
"And if you ask me how I'm feeling.. Don't tell me you're too blind to see.." And with that, Y/N transported back out of the room.
"Clint, do you have any idea what is happening?"
"Steve, you've been rickrolled." Clint said walking out of the room. Y/N texted Steve and told him that the Avengers were having a movie night tonight, so she was gonna stay with Wanda this afternoon and that he was invited tonight. He quickly replied with 'see you @ 7:00'
It was soon 7:00 and all of the avengers were sitting In the lounge. They all agreed to watch Dumb and Dumber. They all were about half way through the movie when Y/N got up to use the restroom. Little did everyone know that she had gone to the restroom to change. She grabbed her clothes from under the cabinet and undid her braids. This giving her a crimp-like hairdo. She put on her moms old clothes from the 80's. And. Teleported into the lounge.
"NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP!" The moment the avengers saw Y/N, they bundled over in laughter. But not Steve, he had a mischievous grin on his face & before Y/N knew it, Steve was up there singing it with her.
"NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN, NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND AND DESERT YOU!" And before She even noticed, all of the avengers were there singing along with the two.
"NEVER GONNA MAKE YOU CRY NEVER GONNA SAY GOODBYE, NEVER GONNA TELL A LIE AND HURT YOU."
After everyone was done laughing Y/N found Steve and engulfed him in a hug.
"I googled it and found the lyrics."
"Hey Steve, I'm never gonna give you up.."
"And Babe, I'm never gonna let you down."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
