It was hard to believe your brother was graduating. He was actually doing it. He didn't even work hard and he's doing it. You would constantly hear your mom yelling at him for his bad grades but he's doing it. He's actually waking on the stage and grabbing his diploma. How sad. Or happy. I think everyone can agree this is a bittersweet moment for everyone.
It's kind of funny though. You were always the smart one and he was always the athletic one. You had just graduated from law school and was now moving out of your home. Here you are, watching your brother graduate, & thinking of places to live and start a law firm. Thinking of yourself. Classic Y/N. Or that's what everyone thought. You did care about people, even if you didn't show it. To much surprise, you do have emotions.
It was after your brothers graduation and it was now time for all of the families to go to the football field and meet their new adult family member. You walked down the old, washed away stairs in your high class, pink pumps with a pink dress that hugged your curves quite nicely. You found your way to your brother.
"Hey Bro. You're an adult now and it's a pain."
"Y/N, it's not fair. I didn't sign up for this."
"And I didn't sign up to have you as my brother," you say hugging him an walking to the food table.
You bump into someone on the way there causing you to fall flat on your butt thanks to your designer heels.
"Oh my goodness ma'am. I didn't see you there." He said meeting your gaze.
You couldn't respond because of his memorizing blue eyes, gorgeous blonde hair, and that shirt he was wearing. It was a bit too small, showing off all of his muscles.
"I uhm its I fine." Is all you could manage to say. He stood there kind of confused. He lifted out a hand and you graciously took it and introduced yourself.
"I'm Y/N. I'm here for Trey Y/L/N.What about you?"
"Steve Rogers. I'm here for Evan Carter, A friend of mines son."
"Oh cool. Well I guess I'll see you around." You turn around regretting not giving him your number or any way to contact you. You got to the food table and picked up a plate and grabbed a lot of cookies. You say down in the bleachers and started chomping down on the homemade chewy chocolate chips. That's when it happened. He sat beside you. You turned to see Steve sitting right next to you. You smiled at him.
"Hello again."
"Hello again, Y/N."
You offered him a cookie and he graciously accepted. He grabbed your empty plate, flipped it over and wrote his number on it.
"Text me sometime."
"Okay."
You got home that afternoon and you couldn't stop thinking about him. Steve, the perfect human. You grabbed your phone and the plate. You punched in the numbers to your cell and texted this..
Y/N: Hey Steve, it's Y/N. Just wanted to let you know my #.
You sat down and turned on your television and within seconds you got a reply.
Steve:Hey. I was wondering if you'd like to go out to dinner?
Y/N: sure when and what time?
Steve: Next Saturday at seven at Elements?
Y/N: sure.. See you there.
So here you were. Sitting in the middle of your new living room waiting on an amazing looking human to reply. Your life is currently great. Let's just wait to see what screws up next?
A/N: this is short and trash. I'm sorry. Next chap will be better.
