I stayed with my baby in the hospital through out the whole night. The boys left home. It was already morning and I had woken up first. I layed my head and arm on her bed rack.

I admired her beautiful face. It had some bruises. It almost made me cry seeing her hurt by a stupid lil bvtch axx niqqa. But she was still beautiful. I placed my hand on her cheek and rubbed it with my thumb.

Her eyes flinched. She was waking up. I think she had forgotten she was in the hospital. That's when she got up really fast. A little too fast. She groaned in pain.

"Babe babe, lay down don't do that." I said worried.

She layed down again. She turned her face to me and just stared. She did the same thing I did to her. She rubbed my cheek with her thumb. Suddenly her face turned into confusion.

She got up a little bit. Trying to sit carefully. She grabbed my face closely. "What happened to your cheek?"

I was confused. I had no idea what she was talking about. "Huh?"

"Is that...is that blood?" She asked confused.

I just remembered. The fight with John at the park! He swung and hit me once. I must've had a dried blood cut. I put a hand over it.

"What happened?" She asked.

I didn't want to tell her we fought John cause she'll go nuts. I looked down thinking for a lie. "Oh uh...um."

"Daniel Sepulveda...tell me, why is there a cut on your cheek." She said in a serious tone.

"Um...meandroddyanddevinandkevin
foundoutthatjohnhurtyousowemightvebeathimup...nothing serious." I said REALLY fast while smiling awkwardly.

She got up so quick and yelled "WHAT!"

I got scared of how loud she yelled.

"Daniel! How could you! You guys are smarter than that! Oh my god." She put her face in her hands with her head thrown back.

"What's the big deal? We did it to defend you Arianna." I said.

"babe...oh god..." She looked down disappointed. "hes in a gang daniel...in a gang."

I was surprised. "So?" I said still not getting her point.

"Daniel! You all could be in so much trouble right now. Oh my gosh. I can't, I can't." She said putting her face in one hand.

She grabbed her phone which was on the other chair. She dialed a number and called. "Roddy, come here NOW! And bring the boys!!!" Her voice sounded scary.

She threw her phone on the chair and just sat there.

I didn't mean to upset her but I had to do what I had to do. Defend and protect her.

"Babe..." I trailed off.

"what daniel?" She said sighing.

"I'm sorry, bu-but I had to show him that he can't mess with my babygirl like that, no way in heck." I said with tears in my eyes imagining him abusing her.

She frowned and put her hand on my cheek. "Baby...I know. And I appreciate that and I love you so much for that, but I just don't want you guys to get hurt. He's in a bad street gang called the 308, he's dangerous." By the time she finished talking she was crying.

I just looked down. There was nothing I could say.

We're in big trouble.
