In the Earth Kingdom, outside the Village of Springfield is the Mountain of Avis. At that mountain, a family of 3 lives almost at the peek of the mountain. There was a hardworking father, a kind mother, and a wild daughter. Yet, they live happily. The father was a shoe-maker and at the same time a farmer and so was the wife. The daughter was only 13 by then. The daughter was advised that she may only go to the village and never set foot outside it since she was young. She would always ask his father -

"Why?" asked the daughter.

"Because it's dangerous." the father would always say.

"But why?" asked the daughter annoyed.

"There are so many bad people outside. Don't you love our village? It's small but everyone is so nice!" the father smiled.

"Yeah but. . . I want to see what else there is!" the daughter protested.

"I will let you when you became a fine young woman and when you can protect yourself." the father always said.

"I actually can because I am-" the daughter stopped.

"Because you are a little cute girl? A daddy's girl?" the father laughed at his joke.

"No! No! I'm a strong girl who knows how to kick and punch!" the girl cheered.

"So what? You'" the father said.

"But I always trained when I was even just 7!" the daughter cried.

"Now... Now... It's not proper to fight at the dinner table." the mother cut in.

"But mother!" the daughter said.

"Terra, dear. Just listen to your father, all right?" the mother smiled.

"Fine." Terra sighed.

"Anyways, you can join me tomorrow if you'd like." the father said.

"Where?" Terra asked stuffing bread at her mouth.

"I'm going to the market. I'll sell the vegetables." the father said.

"Hmm... Fine." Terra said.

"Dear..." the mother said while brushing her hair at the mirror. "I think Terra's been itching to go outside."

"We'll go to the market tomorrow." the father said laying at the bed.

"You know that's not what I mean." the mother smiled.

"She's just a kid." the father protested.

"A very str-." the mother was cut off by the father.

"She's too young." the father said.

The next day, Terra woke up early. She tied her brown hair with a green tie and wore her clothes. Black long-sleeves, a green short coat, black and green patterned shorts, long black socks and a slippers.

Then off the father and the daughter went.

"Hey father, could I look around?" Terra asked and the father agreed.

Terra looked around and saw different kind of stuffs from all over the kingdom.

"The items from the other parts of the kingdom is so cool!" Terra chuckled. Then around the corner she saw a game. A game where you will pick where the rock beneath the 3 cups. Terra tried it for 2 Copper. She was constantly winning and when she got 500 Gold for 45 minutes she stopped and met her father again. Then she saw a poster at a nearby store where you could battle - bender to bender, win rare items, be famous, and be rich. The Battle of the Earthbend. Terra became amused but when she read it, it was in the Marble City. Far from the Village of Springfield.
