We've seen many sunsets now. All over the world. In Canada, where it sets over the Rocky Mountains and lights the snow on fire. In Cuba, where it dips itself in shimmering blue waters. New York, where the orange glow illuminates buildings that stretch and scrape the sky. We tried a Brazilian sunset tonight, after dancing all through the sun shot, humid rainforest, calling out to a hundred kinds of showy bird, spying on the monkeys in their tree houses. We may stay here, we may not. The world is waiting.
Right now the sun sinks low into the trees, it's growing dark quickly but we don't worry. Every predator in this place is known to us by name, every night prowler acknowledges and defers to us, would stand aside for us or kill on command for us. Every creature, from Cheetah to Praying Mantis knows it answers to us.
Now, isn't that some cool shit?
FIN.
