Natalie's POV
The day starts out like any other day. I woke to the sound of my blaring alarm clock. Then I rolled off of my bed on to my feet from there I went seating to the bathroom to get ready for school. I know most girls my age wear makeup but I choose not to. Anyways, I wear dark jeans and t-shirt with my tennis shoes. I then gather up all my school stuff today
When the bus finally arrives twenty minutes late I get on. I sit In the third row every time. I am already gonna be late for school today so so much for meeting up with my friends before school. We finally get to the last stop which has my friend waiting at it. Her name is Bella. I always sit next to her on the bus. As usual she has a ton of stuff with her. Along with her huge backpack she also has a change of clothes and shoes in a separate bag and also carries along a violin with her. I'm also in orchestra with her I just play the cello though.
I am pretty introverted but around her and our main circle of friends I am really comfortable so I act like myself around them. Bella is more extroverted and talks to people more and so that is how we became pretty close. By talking a lot and learning a lot about each other. I also grew comfortable around my friends since they hang out with us a lot.
All of my friends are unique and everyone is different. The strangest of the group being Angela. She was like the definition of weird. Angela is Filipino like Kevin. Kevin and Angela act like brother and sister and are always with each other. I am korean along with my other girl friends like Tiffany, Cindy, and Alice. Maddy and Emily are not Asian like the rest of us but we hang out with them and made them honorary Asians. We call them AID s(Asians In Disguise) and AOTIs (Asian On The Inside) they are well... Interesting I guess... There are other boys in our "little" group as well. There is Kevin as I told you before, Ethan who is Vietnamese an Chinese, and Jesse who we are not sure what he is... He is a mix but is not Asian. We really don't know how he got into our group. Anyways there is also a new korean boy named Ryan who is pretty much a loner but he is with us sometimes. Bella who you know about already is half Japanese and Filipino and Cathy is what we call a wasian. She is half white and half Asian. To be exact, she is half Thai and half mixed white with mostly Scottish.
Now that you know everyone, now we can just go on with my day. We got off the bus and Bella ran to drop off her violin at the orchestra room she came back just in time for the bell. We both ran to our first period class which, sadly, we don't have together.
"See ya!" she called
"Okay!"
But the funny thing is that she has had the same exact classes as Jesse for two years. They, along with Ethan, Ryan, and other people are "special". They have to go to an advanced class for math and are already in the advanced classes like the rest of us. So I guess you could say they are in advanced advanced classes. But even though everyone except Jesse and Bella had different classes by at least one but they had it two years in a row. It must be destiny if you know what I mean. Ryan and I make fun of them for that and Bella hates it. But when Jesse and I annoy her, she always gets both if us back somehow. It always works on both of us to stop and it sometimes annoys me with the effect she has on Jesse and I just using one word like that. Ugh!
I know I am like ms. Stereotypicalasian. I mean I always do my homework and all my schoolwork with exceeding grades and on time and I have glasses and I play piano and am in orchestra, my favorite subject is math, I have black hair and brown eyes, I speak an Asian language as well as English, and I do math team. Sometimes though I don't really pay attention in class because I get bored and stuff so yea. That's what happened today. No explanation necessary. At least he never asked me to read aloud or answer a question... At least I don't think so...
I finally made it past my fist two periods and it was Phys. Ed. time. We just ran a few laps today and played volley ball so it wasn't so bad. I have Angela and Kevin in my class so it was super interesting to watch them. They are like the two strangest people you will ever meet, but when you put them together it is just that the outcome is usually hilarious. It is always different everyday. Looks like today they decided that it would be funny if they ran around the gym screaming their heads off... Lets just say they were lucky most if the kids in their class were already used to it and didn't think much of it. Some people just looked at them like O.O or O.0.
Now I had to survive orchestra with Jesse... I like o mess with him a lot so I try to hide him as long as possible but it usually never works. It doesn't help we are in an orchestra classroom together. He always finds me. Bella, Em, Ryan, Ethan, Alice, and Tiffany are also in orchestra with me. We had a free period in orchestra since we did great at our concert. So Bella and I were talking when Jesse came out if nowhere. We had a nice little conversation and everyone was getting as comfortable and we could when he leaned up against me. (Did I mention that all of us are pretty close? Well, we are.) Then the most awkward thing happened next that I just knew would come back to the both of us. He said and I quote:
"Natalie you are so comfortable"
I just sat there.
"Will you come to my house and be my bed?"
I was so shocked I couldn't now and Bella just looked at him, then me like O.0'what?'
Then Bella told him what it sounded like to us and then he gave her a blank stare. It was then realized what came out if his mouth and what it sounded like because he all of a sudden got off of my shoulder and sat up straight. It looked like the realization hit him as hard as a rock. His eyes widened in realization and it just got more awkward from there. No one said anything or dared to move.
This seemed like forever and it was so awkward I started to laugh. Wait... It was awkward... So... I... Laugh? This is so weird
