Chapter 5 - Kamekonas

4 O'Clock came around in what felt like 15 minutes but it had been roughly an hour and half. When the removal people dropped my stuff off the estate agent was there and they unpacked my 3 boxes for me. Of which I am greatly thankful for because I hate that and the weird thing is they put the things in the same place I would have.

I went up stairs and got changed into a grey, black and white light knitted midriff top, white shorts and a faded denim top to finish the main outfit. I finished my look with black wedge shoes with a gold chain detail along with white clutch that has black detailing.

** KNOCK * KNOCK**

'Hello Danny!' I say as I open the door seeing him stood in front of my door. 

'Hey you ready to head to Kamekonas?'

'Yep let me just get my phone and keys.'

'Yup i'll meet you in the car.' Danny says as he walks away from the door.

'Kay' I reply.

By the time I get my phone, keys and lipstick and lock the door, next thing I know is i'm arriving at Kamekonas for food with Danny. 

'So this is a good friends of my teams and I's favourite place to eat after hard case as it's quick and easy! Oh the team have a table for us and you can see grace again.'

'I can't wait for food i haven't eaten in hours, I can't wait to see grace, she'll have grown so much since I last saw her!' i reply as we make our way over to the table.

'Hey guys, this is Vicki, you'll have heard of her from Rachel i'm sure you will! Grace you remember Vicki don't you?'

'Hey liwttle Gracie, Oh my how much have you grown since the last time I saw you!' I say as she runs in to my arms. 

'Yay, Auntie Vicki, another girl I can hang out with, I have to catch you up with everything! what about saturday we hang out i fill you in! Danny can we please?'

'Only if Vicki agrees, she's only moved her today.' he replies to his daughter looking at me

'Yeah sure why ever the heck not, just a girly day mind Danno.'

'Yep fine, whatever you can deal with her.' He says laughing 'Moving on V this is my team of the Hawaii Five -0 task force this is Chin Ho kelly, Max, Grover, Catherine and Steve but just call him Mcgarrett everyone else does unless he's in trouble.' Danny explains pointing to them as they give a small wave.

Mcgarrett is the first one to speak up, 'Hey, Vicki can I get you drink?'

'Yeah if you don't mind, do they sell longboard beer here?'

'Yup, have to admit wouldn't have put you down as a longboard woman more of a rose or champagne.'

'Nah its either a Longboard or a G&T if it's a push and a rubbish day just the gin on the rocks. Champagne is reserved for special occasions.'

'Thats me put right,' he says nudging chin who just laughs.' Kamekona can we get another longboard and what type of shrimp would you like?'

'I would like a special, the spicest dish and a salad with that please.' as I finish my order, I get the weirdest looks from everyone. 'What?'

'These aren't small dishes and the special is like a platter for 3.'

'If the portions are like what they were like the last time I was here, I think i'll be fine Danno.'

'Oh and this is Kono, she's also on the five-0 task force.'

'Oh my god, Vicki, Vicki Olsen.'

'Jesus christ Kono Kalakaua!' I say standing up in shock.

'It's been to long since we saw each other!' Kono says grabbing into a long awaited hug.

'I knew i recognised you Chin, I just didn't want to say anything incase it wasn't you.'

'How do you guys know each other?' Max pipes up.

'Wait Max, Max Bergman, as in VKM Max.' max nods in reply 'Fuckin' hell it's been a while mate.' I say while sitting down with Grace on one side of me and Kono on the other.

'Here's your food Vicki' Kamekona says placing my food and another beer in front of me 

'Thanks Kamekona!'

'Jesus Christ V you certainly haven't lost you appetite have ya!' Kono says.

'Nope I haven't.'

** 3 hours later**

Three hours later, 20-25 longboards between us all, 10 dishes of food, tons of laughs and memories later it was 7:30 and time to head home. 

'Right I'm going to head home guys it was lovely to met and see you guys!' i say as i collect my things.

'Yeah i'm heading off' Chin says 

A chorus of 'I better as well,' and 'same' and 'me too's' followed after chin.

'Wait, V how are you going to get home, because I forgot I have to get Grace to a sleepover for 8:15 tonight.'

'I'll grab a cab its not that far away to my estate like what 10 minutes.'

'Hey, which estate do you live in?' McGarrett chirps in with.

'She lives in the Bayers Estate.' Danny said before I could while fussing over Grace

'Same, I just moved there last week I can drop you off if you don't mind.'

'When did you move and not consult m..' danny starts having a go at McGarrett before i cut him off.

'Yeah I'm cool with that.' I say walking over to Grace,' I'll see you tomorrow at 10 am after I get my car.' I say while inking at Danno when i talk about my car.

'Oh shut up V, I don't care'

'I know you do Danno, you don't need to go into a strop now.' i finish by pouting and tilting my head slightly.

'Well I don't know what that was all about but you ready Vicki?' McGarrett questions.

' Yup lets rock!'
