I swear; Eren x Armin f.f (COMPLETED)

Chapter 8: Just another night

Eren recalls nothing of that night (the night I confessed my feelings). I imagine his toned, bulky arms gripping my body tightening-tightening as I burrow my head into his chest. With his deep husky voice he confesses "I love you" I couldn't contain my rapture as he kneeled down and revealed a bijou diamond ring, which sparkled in the sunlight, from his back as he whispers "Armin, will you marry me?". I can't contain myself as I spurt out...suddenly I snap back into reality as I hear a booming bang on my door. Mikasa burst open the door, with an angry expression on her face.

She doesn't say a word, the silence makes me shake with anticipation of what move she will make next. Raising her hand she violently runs towards me. As she goes in for the kill, Eren burst in. His face turns to horror as he notices Mikasa's actions. He dashes into action to stop Mikasa...but he was too late. Her hand collides with my cheek, forcing me to fly into a cold brick wall. Eren barges past Mikasa to tend to my bleeding body. Blood gushes from my nose and mouth, my eyes water. Everyone gathers around trying to makes sense of what just happened but as I scan the room it appears Mikasa has fled the scene. Levi instructs me to attend to my injuries at the medical centre, however in my weak state I can't move. Eren sees my struggle and hooks my arm over his shoulder then he forces my body up. He turns to me with a smile on his face and says "Don't worry I'm here for you" I can't help but smile back.

It's been a few days since my fight with Mikasa, so I attempt to talk to her but first I speak to Eren about the idea. "Armin I don't think you should do this what if you get injured again?" he explains his opinion with a concerned tone of voice. "I don't care to be honest. I have to do this it's my fault we had this fight so I'm going to fix things!" I say as I walk away. I love how he has concerns for my safety, MY safety not hers MINE!

I find MIkasa in her room sulking I don't know the reason why but it doesn't matter (it probably is because Eren doesn't condemn her actions and took my side). "Mikasa we need to talk" I say in a calm manner "I don't want to talk to you Armin!" she says still with her back facing me. "I don't care. I am sorry!" she turns with a surprised look. She cannot speak, she is in shock. "What?" I don't know what to respond I said what I had to say. "I'm sorry. Goodbye Mikasa. Don't worry about the fight" I leave leaving her frozen from shock and surprise.

I return to my room with the pleasure of knowing I have fixed things with Mikasa. It's just another night, however the stars in the sky shining above us seemed just slightly more beautiful. I didn't think Eren could do what he did today, taking my side over Mikasa's. I then go on to write another message in my book just like every other night. I lay in my bed and as I think of Eren I smile. I close my emerald eyes, then I slowly drift off to sleep.
