I woke up to a sound of a creak. I looked at my clock. It read 2:00 A.M. I quietly walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a knife. I heard opening, running, and closing doors. I turned on a candle. No way is a burglar going to ruin my sleep!
I heard something in the spare room. I walked out there, and saw them trying to escape. I jumped out, "Aha!" I turned on the dimmed light on the front room to find Chad with his duffel bag opening the front door. I roll my eyes. "It's not what you think," he said. "Oh really, " I said, " Try me."
He quietly closes the door. "Look, I'm going to see my mom." he says timidly. "Pff! I don't buy the "mom" act." I say. I gave him a look over. "You're breaking her heart, and going to see that skank, Vanessa aren't you?" I ask him. "Why should you care? You don't even love her." Chad says. I immediately find him guilty in his body language. " I love my mother, but because you got into the picture she doesn't love me back. You should be ashamed. My mother has been heart broken for a long time, and she thinks you are the one. My father died because of laryngitis!" I whisper yell.
Knowing what mess he's in he grabs his duffel bag and runs out the door. I go to the door and sit down. I immediately start to cry. I haven't cried in a long time.
I'm crying for my mom mainly. After about 5 minutes I hobble up , and start to go up the stairs as fast as I can to go to my mom's room. I must tell her. As soon as I am about to knock on the door something stops me.
This isn't proper. He should be a man and tell her instead of acting like a baby. Plus, it's the respectful thing to do. Wow! I just caught him in the act. What am I going to do? I can't tell her it will break her heart. I can't I just can't.
I go back to bed. I have to. I have to take care of some business tomorrow.
