Chapter 12: Where are they now?/ The End

When I got to the hospital, Adam was with me the whole time. I got a room. It wasn't a huge deal like the movies, they were just doing some simple tests to see if I have something serious or not. Sam and Tom came in the room along with Nathan. Tom coughs  for a minute and asks, "Are you okay?" "You know what I am. I feel more than okay, I feel great." I tell him.  Sam came over to me and handed me some blue violets. "I got some violets for my best friend Violet." I laughed. Nathan came over and told me, " Thank you for treating my brother right. I have news, I'm getting married." "What! bro that's great!" Sam told him. "And you are being my best man." he told him. Sam tears up. "Oh my goodness please stop. Violet Smith doesn't cry." 

My mom shows up with Adam's mom as well. I asked him quickly, "Did you tell her?" "Yes my dear I did for once"he said. I roll my eyes. My mom came up to me and gave me a hug. "I should have believed you he first time. I heard what happened on the news. She's awful. " "Yes she is,but at least she'll be awful in jail instead of awful in school." I told my mom.  Mrs. Sirius goes to Adam and says, " You did good son, you did good." 

The doctor came in the room. "Wow Violet! I guess more people than your boyfriend came. Well the tests came back. You are good nothing is wrong with you. You just have a minor tear in your leg, but nothing a good brace can't fix. Thank you Violet. I heard what happened on the news. You're a hero." "Thank you Dr. Ernest , but this would not be possible without m friends and my class."

When I got out of the hospital that day, the press was all over me, asking me questions to and fro. I was also invited to go on the evening news tonight. I went and answered all of their questions. 

That was 5 months ago. My mom has her own business in making cakes in a food truck in downtown Atlanta. Nathan is getting married after we all graduate in June. Adam and I are stronger than ever. Tom is now in the yearbook staff. Sam was elected class president. I am so proud of him. Ms. Pritchard was given 90 years in prison as long as the rest of the staff in the plot. 

Wow the year goes by fast when you have a why. It's now June 5 our graduation from our junior year. We are all so happy and proud. And though there is no principle to guide us in this ceremony, we did have Ms Sanderson. 

I was given an award for my bravery from the school and the police force. I was honored. I don't know what will come next in my way. But I'll be ready for it.
