DAVES POV:

I tossed and turned in my bed.

I wish I could sleep so I could forget about my problems for a while...but I cant.

Her.

Its her.

She did this-she's DOING this.

And that guy? Was she trying to make me jealous ?

Who knows he might be gay.

I doubt that,they were holding hands !

I gotta know.

I picked up my phone and dialed Chris's number

He picked up after a few rings "Dude im trying to sleep,its 4 am! "

"Sorry man"I replied

"Are you okay dude,you sound like you've been upset"he asked

"Do you know a Peter ?"

"Sorry dude"he replied

"How about Jesse?"

I could hear Chris wake up Jesse and ask her

"No dude,why whos Peter?"

he asked

"ill tell you later now go to sleep"i demanded

I put my phone on my pillow and got up walking to my bathroom.

A 4am work out doesnt seem bad,its better than just laying around.

The gym was quite busy,i went to my small locker and twisted my combo on the lock-wouldnt open,tried another 3 times and it STILL wouldnt open.

"Really !?" I said to myself.

"Old habbits die hard dont they"A voice from behind me said.

I knew that voice.

I turned and saw Niomi behind me.

She had sweat shinning off her forehead so she must have been here for a while.

"Shit sorry,um I guess,ugh what are you doing here?"I nervously asked.

"Working out,i ugh couldnt sleep"she responded

"Are you leaving?"I asked

"Not until 5:00,im just grabbing my water"she said

I stepped away from her locker and started opening mine that was next to hers and put my gym bag in it.

"Im sorry"She said not looking at me.

"For what,im the one with the problems"

"Eather way im the one who keeps starting problems"She said finally looking at me.

"What ever thats in the past,how about a fresh start ?"

She thought about it for a second then smirked "Hi im Niomi"she said putting her hand up for me to shake.

"Dave"I said shaking her hand.

"Want to run?"She asked

I nodded and we walked to the treadmills.

She started running while I did a slow jog.

After a while of running/jogging she slowed down

"Well I have to go" She said slowing down and getting off.

"Do you need a ride?" I asked

Following her to the lockers

"Uuuugh,no a friends picking me up" She answered grabbing her bag out the locker.

I didnt want to be nosey but I couldnt help it.

"Jesse?"I asked

"Um Peter"she answered

Who is this guy !?!?

But of course I couldnt say that.

"Oh,thats ugh...cool"I said

"Hes just a good friend,dont worry Davie."She reasured

I laughed "well ill wait with you"

We sat on the curb in front of the gym waiting for her 'friend' Peter to pick her up.

"So you and this guy are pretty close?"I asked

"Well I just met him yesterday and he is really cool but I dont really know him"she answered.

"And your just trusting him to pick you up?"

"I guess"She shrugged

«««1 hour later»»»

"Where is he?"she wispered to herself.

"Can I please drive you,weve been waiting here for no reason"

"He'll be here"she tried to reassure herself.

"Come on,this asshole would of been here by now,I mean 10 minutes late sure but an hour...REALLY !?!?"

I didnt understand why she was waiting around for him.

"Ill call him"she said pulling out her phone and dialing his number.

after a few seconds she put her phone in her pocket.

"Come on"I said standing up.

"Thanks Dave"she said also standing up.

We made our way to my car and I drove her home.

"Hey,ill call you later"she said"I think ill be able to sleep now"

"Same"I smirked

I went home and finally slept...
