Since math class with Danny, I've made exactly one other friend and no enemies so far. Yay me! I finally am released from physics and wander along with the crowd heading to the cafeteria.
Not knowing where to sit, I look around for Danny or Avery (my other new friend) and I catch several people whispering and staring at me. Shrinking back into the masses again, I select my lunch and turn to see Danny waving his arms like a maniac at me, yelling, "OVER HERE JEN! COME SIT WITH MEEEE!!!!"
Oh how that child has issues. I sheepishly smile and walk over to his table with every eye in the cafeteria on me. Sitting down next to danny, I see that I'm at a table full of athletes. And they are almost all boys- there's two girls thank The Lord. I am doomed right now! I don't do well around cute athletic guys, especially when they are Australian or british! Aaaahhhhh!!!!
"You there Jen? Hellooooo???" Danny pokes me and I snap out of my mini freak out session.
"Oh yeah sorry can you repeat that?" I ask
"Aww you're right Danny! Her American accent is cute!" One of the boys says as he winks at me.
My cheeks instantly heat up and Danny gives his friend a look.
"Finn what did I tell you?"
"Yeah yeah don't hit on girls on the first day.. I know."
"Well Jen, this is Finn, Derek, Andrew, Declan, Tatiana, Drew, Paige, Jack and Luke. You already know Avery." He directs my gaze to each of the kids.
"Hi guys," I wave and then get bombarded with questions until the bell rings, signaling that lunch is over.
Getting up I clear my tray and turn to bump right into one of the guys from Danny's table. I think his name is Derek.
"Oh sorry! What class do you have right now?" Derek asks as he grabs my shoulders to steady me.
"I have chorale right now, what about you?"
"Me too. Ill show you where it is," he smiles and loops his arm through mine as we skip down the hallways together.
Right before we get there I turn and tease him, "what is an athlete like you doing in chorale like you?"
Looking offended, he jokes back "I don't know about American athletes, but we Aussies can actually do something other than surf and play sports,"
We both stop for a minute and then I laugh as he opens the door for me and we settle into our seats and talk until class begins.

After getting off the bus, I skip down the block and unlock the front door of my house and smell the heavenly smell of cookies fresh out of the oven. If there's anything that you should remember about me, it's that I ABSOLUTELY ADORE COOKIES!!!!! They are the loves of my life, no joke.
I round the corner to see my mom with a huge platter of her famous white chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies waiting for me. I drop my bag, fling my arms around my moms neck and give her a big hug before turning my attention to the little bits of heaven.
"Did you have a good first day? Make any new friends?"
"Yeah it was pretty swell, I made friends with a bunch of jocks today thanks to my new bestie, Danny. And I have only like three friends that are girls the rest are boys."
"Just like back home, sweetheart." She smiles and ruffles my hair as I inhale my fourth cookie.
I tell her about the rest of my day and then go upstairs to take a nap and check my Instagram and Tumblr accounts. After friending all of my new friends, I plop down on my bed, kick off my shoes and take a nap.

Here's chapter two! Hope you like it and now writing about those cookies made me hingry... TIME FOR A KITCHEN RAID!!!! Or maybe ill settle for a Kit-Kat instead.
So many hard choices!! Hahah oh well, BYEEEEE
