Aaliyah's Point of View:
I looked at myself in the long mirror, contemplating how to fix my hair today. Should I leave it down, as usual?

My thoughts began to swirl, overwhelming me. Should I forgive Alisha? Has she truly learned her lesson? Would forgiving her make me happier? Maybe then everything would feel perfect again. I resolved to talk to her later.

As I made my way down the stairs, the delicious smell of breakfast wafted through the air.

"Hello, Aaliyah. You okay?" Akshay Bhai asked as I joined him at the table.

"Yes, I'm completely fine! What about you?" I replied cheerfully.

"I'm fine. Can I ask you something?" he said, pouring himself a glass of juice.

"Of course you can ask me; you don't have to ask," I replied, grabbing my cereal.

"Have you spoken to Alisha?" Akshay Bhai's voice turned serious.

"Apparently, she apologized to you at the party. Her brother told me," he added, watching me closely.

"I told her I needed time," I said, focusing on my cereal as if it held all the answers.

"I know you're mad at her; so am I. But I think she deserves another chance. If she blows it, then you don't have to forgive her. I'm seeing a change in her behavior," Akshay Bhai replied, his tone earnest.

"If you say so," I replied, still unsure of what to do.

Alisha's Point of View
I was ready for school slightly earlier than usual, my mind racing with thoughts. I decided to listen to some music to pass the time. I opened the YouTube app and scrolled through my suggestions.

"What is is 'Ya Baba' and who is Zack Knight?" I clicked on the video and a smile spread across my face as I listened to the catchy tune.

Pull up to the spot and let me see whats underneath it
you don't have to panic girl i know just how to treat it
Let me see you back, back, back it up for me baby body fresh to death
l-lay it out for me baby

When you work it so perfect i wanna cal you my habibi
I love it, 100, wanna hear you say inta-hayati— never caught your name
but this the perfect place to leave the crew go hiding we can vibe it till the morning light

As I vibed with the lyrics, I couldn't help but feel intrigued. I needed to search this guy up, so I quickly jumped onto Google. Zack Knight was really cute, and he looked dedicated to both his studies and his music.

"Alisha, hurry up! You're going to be late for school!" Shahrukh Mama yelled from the living room, snapping me back to reality.

"Shit," I muttered, shoving my phone into my blazer pocket and rushing out of my room.

Aaliyah's Point of View:
I settled into a bus seat, glancing around when I spotted the same guy from the party—Theo. He met my gaze, and my heart skipped a beat. Was he looking at me?

"Hey. Never thought I'd see your face again," Theo said as he slid into the seat next to me. I chuckled, surprised at how happy I felt.

"Ditto," I replied, trying to play it cool as he flashed that charming smile that melted my heart. Why was I thinking like this? The bus ride was filled with a comfortable silence.

"Uhh, this is my stop," I said, signaling to get up.

"Oh, sorry," Theo replied, standing up to let me pass.

"See you around," he said as I stepped off the bus.

"Bye," I managed, feeling like a complete idiot with a goofy smile plastered on my face. Just then, Selena and Joy came running toward me.
