Alisha's Point of View:
We still haven't found Aaliyah, and Akshay Bhai keeps giving me death glares. I'm panicking. I just hope we find her soon so my family will get off my back.

Hussain! How could I forget? He and Sidharth went looking for her.

To: Hussain, Sidharth
From: Alisha

Did you find Aaliyah yet?
- Anisa

A few seconds later, my phone pinged.

Hussain:
No, we haven't found her yet. But wherever she is, it's probably for the best since she's safer from you. If you do find her, call Shehry so we can apologize, and please never text me again.

I ruined it... Aaliyah didn't even do much, did she? Except for accidentally blurting small secrets out, honestly, she hardly did anything wrong.

"Who are you texting, Alisha?" Bhai asked.

"No one—" I replied.

"You're too busy texting while Aaliyah might be—" Bhai said, and I shot him a glare. How could he say that? Was he placing all the blame on me? I suppose I deserved some of it considering I pushed her to the point where she felt she had to run away. I wondered if that could be seen as criminal behavior.

"The police are coming to our house to take a statement from Alisha," Akshay Bhai said as he walked into the living room. An idea sparked in my mind which was my chance. Maybe I could tell them I did it all and they'd send me back to America since I'm not a proper British citizen yet and I'm only on visa status at the moment.

Aaliyah's Point of View:
II lay on my bed, thinking about everything that had happened recently when another text from Alisha popped up on my phone. When will she learn not to text me?

Alisha:
Hello Aaliyah. I hope you are okay. Please pick up someone's calls or reply just once. I want to apologise again for everything, and please let us know where you are and if you're okay. We're all worried about you.

Akshay Bhai said the police are coming to get my statement today. I think I'll tell them I did it all, and they'll send me back to America. That's the truth; we all know it. It'll be for the best—at least I'll be safe from myself. Anyway, thank you, Aaliyah. You know I love you deep down, right?

Goodbye for the last time, I guess.

What the hell? My anger boiled over, and I couldn't help but text Alisha back. She had crossed the line once again.

Me: You don't really care about me, do you? You only care about yourself. You want to go back to America and leave me wherever the hell I am. I don't understand why you had to do any of this in the first place. If you weren't such a selfish brat, none of us would be in this situation now. If you go back to NYC, fine. I don't care because I'm never going back! Bye.

Alisha is not the girl I once knew.

Alisha: Okay and? You'll have a better life in London. There are many more opportunities anyway, lol.
Alisha: Anyway, I'll show these messages to the police and I'm sure they'll be able to track you down. Anyway, bye cuz hope they find you xx

How could I be so thick? Am I dumb enough to reply back? It doesn't matter. I'll just have to buy a new SIM or destroy this phone. Suddenly, Neel walked into the room.

"Hey, Aaliyah, are you alright?" Neel asked. I can't tell him anything... I don't want him to worry about me.

"It's nothing. I'm just a bit tired" I replied.
