Just randomly got the urge to write a Halloween poem, we don't celebrate it this side. Wish I lived in a place where people actually went "Trick - or - Treating" looks like so much fun :)

Mortals beware for this is the night
A cryptic craze, oh Halloween delight
Switch on the shadows, unlock the doors
Put out the pumpkins on the bloodshed floors
Trick or Treat, a game with death?
Horrific terrors stealing your breath
Those ghouls you see, are they real or fake?
Today your nightmare lives as you wake!
Peek-A-Boo, more screams to the monsters delight
Embrace the shadows – turn off the night light
It’s alright to dwell in the shadows, on this day
Your efforts rewarding, sweet candy its pay
So a most happy Halloween to you all
Don’t scream, don’t trip, stumble or fall
Embrace the occasion for it’s only once a year
that we unleash our trickery, walk amongst you
- and feed on your fear
