After school that day I went home, even though I tried my hardest to get every piece of information out of Liz about what happened between her and Whitney, she ended up keeping her mouth closed for once. I was shocked. She didn’t even try to gossip about anything the whole day, made me worry a little. I thought she had a cold or something. But evidently she was fine because now she’s on the phone with me and she’s gossiping like never before.
“So Miranda was like ‘you’re the bitch’ and I was like ‘No you’re the bitch, bitch’ then she slapped me. Then I was ‘Oh no you didn’t’ and she was…”
Flipping another page of this magazine I was reading, I replied to Liz, “Sounds like a Degrassi moment to me.” When I flipped another page of it I noticed a male model that looked so cute and young. I think he was like thirteen or so. But he was so cute and reminded me of someone. I kept thinking and thinking but no one came to mind. I shrugged my shoulders and flipped to another page containing photos of celebrity’s in their dirty and nasty moments. I grinned at a picture of Katy Perry in a swimsuit and half of her butt cheek poking out the left side.
“I know right.” Liz sighed into the phone, “That’s what my life is, All drama.” She was right. I’ve never seen Liz not in a bitch fight with someone else. It was amazing when she went a whole week without gossiping and yelling at other people because of my deal in fifth grade. I told her she couldn’t go a week without gossiping and she yelled at me and said she could. That how it went, now that I think about it, it was pretty funny.
I giggled into the phone. Ah, memories.
I hear Liz’s mom yelling at her to go and get chicken starch from the gas station and laughed. Her Mom is so crazy. Just like mines. “No mom! You have a car! Use it!” Liz yelled back. She growled into the phone, “Anyways, are you going to that party tonight?” I flipped another page of my magazine and saw another picture of that male model kid, holding a ring pop in his hand and smiling. That smile reminds me of someone… “Are you?!” Liz yelled into the phone. I shook my head trying to stop myself from thinking too much.
“Oh sorry, what party?” I asked. Even though I don’t go to party’s I thought about it for awhile and think it will be a good idea not to be a stick in the mud once in awhile.
“What?! Jason Macleod’s party that’s ‘what party!’” I hear rustling in the background, “I’m going with or without you buddy!” I rolled my eyes, she goes without me every time. Why would she think I would think differently this time around?
“I’m going.” I don’t even know who Jason Macleod is but I’m sure Liz could get me inside the party somehow. Like I said, she has all the connections in the world; she’s like Oprah.
“Your never go! You need to suck it up- Wait what?”
“I said, ‘I’m going’ are you deaf or something?” I threw the magazine I was reading on the ground and jumped off my bed to get ready for the party.
